Special teams coordinator Heath Farwell said Friday that it's Bojorquez's job to lose and that he needs to be more consistent. The Bills signed kicker and punter Kaare Vedvik this offseason and he will be Bojorquez's main competition come training camp. Bojorquez served as the Bills' only punter in 2019, kicking 79 times for a 41.9 gross average and 37.7 net average.

Bojorquez will almost certainly enter training camp as the incumbent, but he'll also have some competition in the form of Kaare Vedvik.

That leaves Bojorquez as the only remaining punter on the roster, though it's worth noting the Bills made a switch just ahead of the regular season last year. Bojorquez has had ups and downs this summer, so even though Carter is out of the picture with a knee injury, the former can further solidify his spot with a strong performance in the preseason finale.
