Beasley caught both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's win over the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Reading too much into Beasley's disappointing output seems foolish in a 40-0 game, especially after he posted an 11-98-0 line Week 3. What shouldn't be ignored, however, is the emergence of Dawson Knox -- four TD catches in the last three games -- and the fact that Emmanuel Sanders is producing more than an injured John Brown was able to do last year. That means Beasley could be more of a hit-or-miss option in 2021 depending on game script, even though he's still the team's go-to slot receiver and is one of the NFL's best at short-space catches. Either way, we're pretty confident he'll be more involved in what could be a high-flying battle with the potent Chiefs this Sunday. Beasley has yet to find the end zone after posting four TD catches in the 2020 regular season.

Beasley secured 11 of 13 targets for 98 yards in the Bills' 43-21 win over Washington on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It was a prototypical Beasley stat line, with the veteran possession receiver not notching a catch longer than 22 yards and easily establishing a new season high in receptions along the way. Beasley also tied his high-water mark in targets, and he once more could wreak havoc against the Texans in a favorable Week 4 matchup.

Beasley caught all four of his targets for 36 yards during Sunday's win over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
The pass-heavy Bills took control of the game early and were content to run the ball more than usual. Even with the addition of Emmanuel Sanders, Beasley still seems like the No. 2 option in the passing game, but there are a lot of mouths to feed even in this high-powered offense. Plus, running back Devin Singletary and tight end Dawson Knox simply look like better players this season. Beasley should maintain his value as a deep WR option, but it's hard to see much upside beyond that. Last season's 967 receiving yards may be tough to match.

WR FA
Beasley received a rest day during Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Beasley's day off may have been a needed mental break as well, as the Bills are coming off a tough loss, and he was booed by some of the crowd during Sunday's opener in light of his vocal stance about the COVID-19 vaccine. None of this should affect Beasley's role in the offense, as he's one of Josh Allen's favorite targets, and he drew a whopping 13 looks in the Week 1 loss. He should remain a big part of the game plan Sunday against the Dolphins, especially if Gabriel Davis (ankle) can't suit up or is limited.

Beasley secured eight of 13 targets for 60 yards in the Bills' 23-16 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Beasley furnished his usual reception-heavy stat line while checking in second behind Stefon Diggs in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The sure-handed veteran filled his usual slot role, and at least for Week 1, his workload was wholly unaffected by the presence of new No. 2 receiver Emmanuel Sanders. Beasley will look to reprise his strong season-opening performance when the Bills travel to South Florida to tangle with the Dolphins in Week 2.

Beasley caught four of five targets for 52 yards in the first half of Saturday's preseason game against the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Josh Allen threw 26 passes on three drives, despite not having Stefon Diggs (knee) in the lineup. Apart from Buffalo's star quarterback, Beasley and Gabriel Davis were the stars of the afternoon, both topping 50 yards one day after being removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list. Targets will be a bit harder to come by with Diggs likely back for Week 1 against Pittsburgh, but the Bills should be able to keep all four WRs involved on a weekly basis, in part by using four-wide formations.

Beasley is in uniform and going through pregame warmups ahead of Saturday's preseason matchup with Green Bay, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
It looks like Beasley and Gabriel Davis may play despite spending most of the week on the reserve/COVID-19 list. In addition to those two, Stefon Diggs (knee) and Emmanuel Sanders are going through warmups, potentially giving QB Josh Allen his top four wide receivers.

Beasley was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
Beasley missed a few days of practice and could be out for Saturday's exhibition with the Packers. Either way, he's expected to enter Week 1 against Pittsburgh in his familiar slot role, though the Bills can also give Emmanuel Sanders some of those snaps if they want projected No. 4 receiver Gabriel Davis on the field as a deep threat. Beasley gets an interesting matchup to start the season, facing a Pittsburgh defense that lost long-time slot corner Mike Hilton to the division-rival Bengals this offseason. The Steelers have tried a bunch of young players at the position this summer, including rookie seventh-round pick Tre Norwood this past week, per Missi Matthews of the Steelers' official site.

The Bills placed Beasley on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Beasley and fellow wideout Gabriel Davis were close contacts of a Bills employee who tested positive for COVID-19. Both should return to practice next week if they continue to test negative.

Beasley and teammate Gabriel Davis have been removed from the Bills' facility and now must undergo a five-day reentry process after they were deemed close contacts of someone who tested positive for COVID-19, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patriots QB Cam Newton currently is stuck in the same five-day process, albeit for different reasons. Beasley and Davis thus figure to miss the entire week of practice as well as the preseason finale against Green Bay on Aug. 28. Beasley probably wouldn't have played anyway, given his lengthy NFL track record and familiarity with OC Brian Daboll's scheme. The veteran slot receiver likely will return to practice next week, giving him two weeks to gear up for a Sept. 12 season opener against Pittsburgh.
