Fleener caught 4-of-11 targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 40-24 win over the Giants. Fleener made up for an otherwise uninspiring game over the span of a few seconds in the second quarter, catching passes of 21 and 32 yards on back-to-back plays, with the second going for a touchdown. He bobbled the first catch, which caused the Colts to rush to the line for the snap, but the Giants were unready while waiting for a challenge flag that came too late. The result was an easy touchdown to Fleener, who went uncovered on a corner route due to the defensive mishap. The former Stanford Cardinal had an odd night in many regards, recording a whopping eight targets during that second quarter alone, after catching just one pass on four targets the previous week. Though Fleener had a strong statistical showing Monday night, Dwayne Allen remains the bigger red-zone threat, and also the superior player.

Fleener had just one reception on four targets in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh. Indy had just six targets to tight ends in 45 pass attempts as the Colts tried to throw it deep after falling behind by a lot early. Fleener and Dwayne Allen continue to split the targets at tight end with Allen more of a red zone threat (eight TDs compared to Fleener's two TDs).

Fleener had four catches on five targets for 64 yards Sunday against the Bengals. Fleener continues to split tight end targets with Dwayne Allen (three catches on six targets for 52 yards and a touchdown Sunday), while also trailing the touchdown count five to three. With the way quarterback Andrew Luck is playing this season, both are threats to score in any given week, but they also continue to limit each other's fantasy upsides.

Fleener caught 2-of-4 targets for 11 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 33-28 win over the Texans. Fleener also had a bad drop, which has been a recurring theme over the last two seasons. The Colts do seem to love their tight ends in the red zone, but Fleener has a modest 25 targets through six games, and Dwayne Allen has been the more productive player.

Fleener had just one catch on two targets for 30 yards in Sunday's win over Baltimore. Fleener was once again outproduced by fellow tight end Dwayne Allen, who caught four passes on five targets for 59 yards with a touchdown. The third-year Fleener still has a chance to score every week, with Andrew Luck playing so well, but Allen appears to be the superior player, at least at the moment.

Fleener caught two passes (on three targets) for 26 yards and a touchdown Sunday versus the Titans. Fleener found the end zone for the second straight game by securing a two-yard touchdown reception during the third quarter Sunday. However, Fleener has still not cracked the 50-yard plateau this season, evidencing the limiting impact fellow tight end Dwayne Allen's presence has on Fleener's fantasy stock.

Fleener had four receptions on seven targets for 49 yards, including a seven-yard touchdown, in Sunday's win over Jacksonville. Both Fleener and Dwayne Allen (four receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown) had productive games as neither appears to have pulled ahead in the competition for targets at tight end. The Indy passing game has a plethora of options - nine players caught passes Sunday - so Fleener's production is going to vary significantly week to week.

Fleener caught his only target for 13 yards in Monday's 30-27 loss to the Eagles. Fleener is off to a slow start, as there's ample competition for Andrew Luck's attention in an offense that also wants to establish the ground game. Fellow tight end Dwayne Allen didn't fare any better Monday, with no catches on one target.

Fleener had three receptions for 21 yards and was targeted eight times in Sunday's loss at Denver. Fleener had the third most targets on the team and was targeted once in the red zone on a fade route, so there's evidence he won't be minimized in the offense despite the return of tight end Dwayne Allen from last year's season-ending hip injury.

Fleener had two receptions for 31 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown, in Saturday's preseason loss to New Orleans. It was encouraging to see Fleener involved in a big play as his speed and ability to stretch the field can be a weapon for the Colts. However, it's not clear if he'll get as many balls thrown his way as last year with the return of Dwayne Allen and Reggie Wayne from injury and both looking sharp in Saturday's game as well.
