Chase Edmonds Busts Out rotoballer.com Sun 10/20/19 6:19 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds took off in Week 7 after running back David Johnson (ankle) left the game three snaps into the contest. Edmonds rushed 27 times for 126 yards and three touchdowns and caught two passes for 24 yards. Edmonds has averaged 5.62 yards per carry and has likely earned a larger share of the work when Johnson is healthy. Edmonds will be a flex option at the very least, but he could be an RB2 if Johnson is out against the New Orleans Saints.
Giants Defense Has Solid Fantasy Day rotoballer.com Sun 10/20/19 4:48 PM
The New York Giants Defense had a solid fantasy day on Sunday versus the Cardinals. Their defensive line put little pressure on Kyler Murray, and they got abused on the ground by Chase Edmonds, but you don't have to be a good real defense to have a good fantasy day. The rainy conditions prevented Murray from doing any damage through the air, and the Giants were able to record two sacks and block a punt that they recovered for a touchdown. They're not a recommended option next week against the...
Chase Edmonds Worth Consideration rotoballer.com Fri 10/18/19 8:14 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds has been a sneaky contributor over the last two games, but it's because he found the end zone each game. He had 12 carries for 102 yards and five catches for 51 yards combined in the games, and he scored on the ground and through the air. Starting running back David Johnson (ankle) is a game-time decision this week, but he practiced more than he did before he played with a back injury last week. The matchup against the New York Giants is a solid one...

BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team LeaguesOWNED IN: 30% of LeaguesANALYSIS: Look, I'm not saying that the Kliff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray combination is destined to be the next Brady/Belichick, but it's undeniable that the Cardinals offense has improved greatly this season after looking atrocious last year, and one way you can tell is that this team now has a fantasy relevant backup running back.Edmonds played 29 percent of Arizona's snaps on Sunday, so he's not getting a huge amount of chances as ...
Chase Edmonds Reaches Pay Dirt rotoballer.com Mon 10/14/19 12:21 AM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds had five carries for 34 yards and caught two balls for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Week 6 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Edmonds pitched in even with running back David Johnson (back) handling a full workload. Edmonds needs to be owned, but he's not likely to see enough work to continue to be in the flex discussion. The Cards have a solid matchup against the New York Giants next week, which could give Edmonds another chance to contribute.
Chase Edmonds Worth A Flex Play rotoballer.com Fri 10/11/19 4:33 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds could see an increased share of the work in the backfield this week with running back David Johnson (back) a game-time decision. Johnson is expected to play, but he could be limited. Edmonds rushed eight times for 68 yards and a touchdown last week, and he tacked on three catches for 18 yards. The Atlanta Falcons' defense has been porous all season, but they have done OK against running backs. They're 24th in the league in average fantasy points ...

BALLER MOVE:Add in 14+ Team LeaguesOWNED IN: 3% of leaguesANALYSIS: Chase Edmonds is in his second season in the NFL as the backup to David Johnson. While it's tough to get much volume behind someone as talented as Johnson, it's worth noting that Edmonds has been quite efficient with the ball in his hands this year, averaging 6.68 YPC on 19 total carries. Edmonds vultured a touchdown last week from Johnson and finished the game with 68 yards on eight carries. While he isn't worth starting by any...
Chase Edmonds Gets Involved rotoballer.com Sun 10/6/19 11:19 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds rushed eight times for 68 yards and a touchdown and caught three balls for 18 yards in the Week 5 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. It was his most extensive action of the season. Edmonds had a really good matchup in the game and is someone to handcuff to running back David Johnson, but he's not yet worth owning otherwise.
Chase Edmonds Has One Touch In Week 1 rotoballer.com Sun 9/8/19 9:40 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds had only one rush attempt for five yards and missed his lone target in Week 1 against the Lions. The second-year man is nothing more than a backup to veteran David Johnson at this point. With the type of workload that DJ received in the game against the Lions, if anything were to happen to him, expect Edmonds to have a drastic increase in touches. For now he is nothing more than a handcuff in redraft leagues for Johnson owners.
Chase Edmonds Plays With A Purpose rotoballer.com Sat 8/24/19 9:51 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds put in a strong performance Saturday afternoon against the Vikings, rushing three times for 13 yards and hauling in both of his two targets for 24 yards. Edmonds continues to be a top handcuff to own in the fantasy world and would be a solid weekly starter if something were to happen to David Johnson. With starters likely resting for the fourth and final preseason game, look for Edmonds to get his fair share of touches against the Denver Broncos.
