Chase Edmonds Should Have A Role In Cardinals Offense rotoballer.com Wed 8/19/20 4:37 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds is the clear No. 2 behind Kenyan Drake on the offense, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury certainly won't be discluding Edmonds from the offense's plans this year. "When he had his opportunities, he shined," Kingsbury said, about the third-year running back Edmonds. Last year, Edmonds averaged 5.1 yards per carry, up from 3.5 his rookie year. He had a monstrous game in Week 7 against the Giants, rushing for 126 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries. ...
Chase Edmonds Is Explosive rotoballer.com Thu 6/18/20 1:43 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds had 20 rushes of 15-plus mph on just 59 carries last year, resulting in the highest percentage of explosive runs (minimum of 50 rushes) in the entire league. Edmonds had 303 rushing yards and four touchdowns in 13 games (two starts) last year for the Cardinals. As long as Kenyan Drake is healthy as the lead back, Edmonds probably won't see more than a handful of touches per game, though. The 24-year-old makes for a great handcuff for Drake owners, ...
Chase Edmonds Returning In Week 13 rotoballer.com Fri 11/29/19 6:34 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) practiced in full the last two days and has been taken off the final injury report for Week 13 against the Rams. It will be his first game action since Oct. 27 against the Saints. While Edmonds could see some work, he'll be sharing touches with Kenyan Drake and the hobbled David Johnson in his return. There just isn't much of a case to be made to start Edmonds in fantasy lineups in what could be a three-headed attack this Sunday. His ...
Chase Edmonds On Track To Return rotoballer.com Thu 11/28/19 5:52 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) returned to a full practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. Edmonds is on track to play in Week 13 against the Rams. With David Johnson still hobbled and playing second fiddle to the effective Kenyan Drake in this backfield, Edmonds could be the backup against LA this Sunday. Edmonds could be used in the passing game and could steal some valuable touches from Drake, but it's hard to argue that he'll have any standalone ...
Chase Edmonds Limited In Wednesday's Practice rotoballer.com Wed 11/27/19 6:30 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Edmonds is on track to return for the first time since Oct. 27 against the Saints. However, Kenyan Drake remains the team's lead back with David Johnson battling injuries. Edmonds could be the No. 2 in the backfield this weekend against the Rams, but he still wouldn't carry much appeal as an RB3/flex as long as Drake continues to impress since joining the team.
No Practice For Chase Edmonds Tuesday rotoballer.com Tue 11/19/19 1:39 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) was not seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Tuesday. The Cardinals are going on their bye in Week 12, so Edmonds will have another week to rest up. He's been out since Oct. 27 against the Saints. In the meantime, the Cardinals signed Kenyan Drake, and he has now leaped an injured David Johnson on the running back depth chart. Edmonds could get some run in Week 13 if he's ready and DJ is still slowed by his injuries, but...
Chase Edmonds Will Not Play In Week 11 rotoballer.com Fri 11/15/19 4:08 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) will not play in Week 11 against the 49ers, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Edmonds was fantasy relevant weeks ago when David Johnson was hurt and before the team traded for Kenyan Drake. The Cardinals will go on their bye in Week 12, and Edmonds will return to find himself third on the running back depth chart. Unless one of Drake or Johnson get hurt, Edmonds should find himself on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues.
Chase Edmonds Absent Thursday rotoballer.com Thu 11/14/19 1:58 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) missed practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday and is on track to miss another game in Week 11 against the 49ers. Edmonds had some fleeting RB2 appeal when David Johnson (ankle, back) was sidelined, but that opportunity has dried up after the team traded for Kenyan Drake. Drake could be the leader in the backfield going forward as long as Johnson struggles with multiple injuries. The Cardinals have their bye coming up...
Chase Edmonds Still Not Practicing rotoballer.com Thu 11/14/19 11:24 AM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) missed practice again on Wednesday and looks likely to miss another game in Week 11 against the 49ers. Edmonds had RB2 upside while filling in for the injured David Johnson for several weeks, but Edmonds is now injured himself and the Cardinals have Kenyan Drake as depth behind Johnson. As long as Johnson and Drake remain active, Edmonds will have a very small role whenever he returns from his injury. He can be dropped in most leagues ...
Chase Edmonds Out Again rotoballer.com Fri 11/8/19 6:49 PM
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) didn't practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 10. Edmonds lost most of his roster viability with Kenyan Drake's acquisition, and he'll need one of the top two backs to go down for it to rekindle. Unless you're in a deeper league, Edmonds can be dropped.
