Carlos Hyde Has Fine Day rotoballer.com Sun 12/8/19 4:52 PM

Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde had 14 carries for 73 yards in Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos. He also caught two passes for five yards. Hyde bounced back from his worst game of the year to put up a solid stat line, and while his upside remains limited, it was encouraging to see him do what he did in a game where Houston's offense was shut down for most of the game. Hyde's still just an RB3/4 moving forward, though.

Carlos Hyde Could Be In Trouble Against Denver rotoballer.com Sat 12/7/19 11:46 AM

Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde is coming his worst performance of the season, a 10-carry, 17-yard outing against a strong Patriots Defense. Now, he's about to face a Broncos Defense that's allowing the eighth-fewest yards per carry to opposing running backs, which is bad news for Hyde, who's shown a tendency to struggle at times this season. His volume should give him a chance to produce something, but he still shouldn't be considered more than a low-end RB3 this week.

Carlos Hyde Has Rough Outing rotoballer.com Mon 12/2/19 11:10 AM

Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde just couldn't do anything on Sunday against the Patriots, producing just 17 rushing yards on 10 carries. Hyde also added a five-yard reception. New England's got a great rushing defense, so we weren't expecting much from Hyde anyways, but his numbers still somehow fell below those already low expectations. Against weaker defenses, Hyde is still usable as a RB4, but his low floor makes him a risky start during the fantasy playoffs, and it would be a ...

Carlos Hyde Is Risky Week 13 Start rotoballer.com Fri 11/29/19 4:14 PM

Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde has just one touchdown in his last five games, and there's no reason to think he finds the end zone on Sunday against a Patriots Defense that's allowed just one rushing score to an opposing running back all year. Consider Hyde an extremely risky play this week, someone whose ceiling is low and floor is rock bottom. Outside of deep leagues, you've got a better option.

Carlos Hyde Rushes For 67 Yards rotoballer.com Fri 11/22/19 2:56 AM

Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde Ran for 67 yards on 16 carries during the win over the Colts on Thursday night. This was a routine performance from the 29-year-old, who is averaging 76 yards on 16 touches per game this season, and while he has only four touchdowns on the year, he is well on his way to the first 1,000-yard rushing season of his career. With this game in the books, Hyde will have a tough matchup in Week 13 against the top-ranked Patriots Defense.

Carlos Hyde Could Struggle Against Colts rotoballer.com Thu 11/21/19 10:22 AM

Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde found the end zone in Week 11, but it came after a lot of short runs that hadn't gone his way. It's fair to expect more of the same out of Hyde on Thursday against the Colts: three yard gains and a fantasy value that's entirely dependent on him managing to break off one big play. He didn't do that the last time these teams faced, carrying the ball 12 times for 35 yards in the loss. It's hard to see Hyde as more than a low-end RB3 in this matchup.

Carlos Hyde Scores Against Ravens rotoballer.com Sun 11/17/19 4:38 PM

Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde salvaged a rough day with a late 41-yard touchdown run in Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Hyde finished with 65 rushing yards on nine carries and failed to bring in his only target. With the game script favoring the passing game for a Texans team that trailed big for most of the contest, Hyde just never really had enough opportunities to find success. He remains a risky flex option moving forward.

Carlos Hyde A Volume Play This Sunday rotoballer.com Fri 11/15/19 2:19 PM

Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde has gotten 19 or more carries in four of his past five games and will need that type of workload to succeed in a tough matchup at Baltimore. The Ravens are a top-10 defense in terms of fantasy points allowed to running backs so Hyde isn't a must-start player by any means. Still, he's been getting the type of workload fantasy managers want and should be fresh coming off a bye. Hyde is startable as a flex option with more value in non-PPR leagues as he has ...

Jaguars Can't Contain Carlos Hyde rotoballer.com Sun 11/3/19 12:48 PM

Sunday was an almost perfect day for Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde, minus a fumble that occurred just before he would have scored his only touchdown of the day. But even without finding the end zone, Hyde had 19 carries for 160 yards and the fumble, a solid outing for the veteran back. Sure, Duke Johnson getting the team's lone rushing touchdown hurts, but Hyde still performed far better than expected. He's rising up the fantasy rankings.

Carlos Hyde Could Surprise In Week 9 rotoballer.com Fri 11/1/19 6:11 PM

Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde shouldn't be a good start in Week 9 against a Jacksonville Jaguars team that allows the 10th-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, but he also had 20 carries for 90 yards when these teams faced in Week 2. If Houston gets the same inconsistency from quarterback Deshaun Watson in this one that they got in that one, Hyde could again see a big workload that adds up to a solid day for owners who start him in standard-scoring leagues. ...
