Johnson (undisclosed) was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice, the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Lions are playing in London for a second consecutive season, but Johnson missed last year's version due to a high ankle sprain. The reason for Wednesday's absence isn't known, yet it should be revealed upon the release of Wednesday's injury report. For what it's worth, his availability for Sunday's game against the Chiefs doesn't appear to be in question, as Johnson said, "I'm looking forward to it. To be able to get out here and play in London -- last year, I was down -- but it'll be a great experience."

Johnson hauled in five passes for 86 yards and a touchdown on seven targets in Sunday's loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson connected with Matthew Stafford on a 46-yard strike up the left side of the field and a 1-yard back-shoulder fade for a touchdown. Johnson has now scored in consecutive games for the first time since Weeks 13 and 14 of last year. Coming off of an injury-plagued 2014, Johnson is slowly picking up steam, racking up his two best yardage totals of the season over the past two weeks and ranking among the top 10 in the league in catches and yards for the season.

Johnson (ankle) is active for Sunday's game versus the Vikings, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ultimately, Johnson's addition to the Lions' injury report Friday was all for naught, but Minnesota's defense has held opposing wideouts to just 6.7 YPT and four touchdowns this season, which could leave owners wanting more in Week 7.

Johnson (ankle) was added to Friday's injury report as a limited participant in practice, but he is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Although the decision to list Johnson as probable suggests his ankle injury is minor, late-week additions to the injury report are always worrisome. Fortunately for Johnson's owners, the Lions play at 1:00 PM ET, leaving plenty of alternatives in the unlikely event the star wideout can't play.

Johnson hauled in six passes off of nine targets for 166 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson had a slow start to 2015, averaging just 10.1 yards per catch and a season long of 28 yards. Megatron hauled in three passes for more yardage than that on Sunday, including a 57-yard jumpball to set up Detroit's game-winning field goal. After five weeks of offensive struggles, Detroit put together a strong performance on Sunday, particuarly in the passing game, with the kind of emphasis on down-field passes that Johnson and quarterback Matthew Stafford are known for. Look for Detroit to try to keep with that formula moving forward.

Johnson had five receptions on seven targets for 67 yards in Sunday's 42-17 loss to Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Matching up primarily against CB Patrick Peterson, Johnson was held in check for the second straight year (he caught just 5-of-12 targets for 59 yards versus the Cardinals in 2104). Of bigger concern for Johnson is his lack of downfield usage and production, as he's made just three catches of 20+ yards, and one of those receptions came from backup QB Dan Orlovsky (Matthew Stafford was benched Sunday for ineffectiveness). Furthermore, Megatron entered Sunday's game with a mediocre 5.7 YPT, which would easily be the worst mark of his prolific career. He'll look to make some big plays at home in Week 6 against Chicago, but he needs some help from Stafford.

Johnson caught seven passes (on 11 targets) for 56 yards and lost a fumble in Monday night's defeat to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson led the Lions in receiving once again Monday night, but a late fumble just before crossing the goal line proved costly to his potential production. Through four games, Johnson has scored only one touchdown and has connected with quarterback Matthew Stafford on just 27 of his whopping 45 targets. While that heavy involvement certainly bodes well for his long-term production, Johnson could stand to improve his efficiency in the Lions' passing game, even if a Week 5 matchup against the Cardinals' secondary may make that difficult.

Johnson caught eight passes for 77 yards on 13 targets in Sunday's 24-12 loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
The Detroit offense has been abysmal through three weeks, and no player has cracked the 100-yard barrier in a single game. Johnson does have 30 targets over his last two games, but he's been nearly as inefficient as the rest of his team, and his Week 4 matchup (at Seattle) is brutal.

Johnson was on the field for all 78 of Detroit's offensive snaps in Week 2, the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Week 2 was the first game during head coach Jim Caldwell's tenure that Johnson played every snap. Not surprisingly, Johnson saw his most targets, 17, since the beginning of last season and just his second 10-catch game since Caldwell took over. Though Detroit has taken to resting its skill players during games and Golden Tate and Eric Ebron have emerged as quality options, Sunday's snap count illustrates that Johnson is still the weapon of choice in Detroit.

Johnson reeled in 10 catches for 83 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
What a difference a week makes. After being targeted just four times in Week 1, Johnson saw 17 passes come his way on Sunday. The next step up will be to generate more production off of that level of exposure. Johnson is averaging just over 10 yards per reception thus far this season, more than four yards below his career low. He'll be counted on to stretch the defense and open things up underneath and in the running game for Detroit.
