Webb agreed to terms on a deal with the Bears on Wednesday, his agent, Sunny Shah reports.
EDGE Analysis
Webb has played for four teams in as many seasons and the Bears will now mark his fifth. The journeyman played in 14 games for the Saints last season, including eight starts, and finished the 2016 season with 28 tackles and one interception. He likely isn't guaranteed a roster spot considering Chicago currently has 12 other cornerbacks under contract.

Webb (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Webb won't suit up for the game due to a coach's decision as he falls deep on the Saints' cornerback depth chart.

Webb led the Titans with eight tackles (seven solo) Sunday against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick consistently picked on Webb over Tennessee's other corners, so the high number of tackles was a result of consistently getting beaten by receivers rather than some positive revelation from Webb. Don't be surprised if Webb quickly fades back into obscurity.

Webb (hip) was waived by the Cowboys on Thursday, ESPN Dallas reports. Webb was slated to miss the final two preseason contests due to a hip flexor, but the Cowboys will now put faith in the fact that he'll emerge from waivers unclaimed in order to keep him around on the practice squad. As a fourth-round pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, the cornerback will likely be handed a longer leash than normal to prove his worth.

Webb will not play in Saturday's preseason game in Miami due to a hip ailment, the Dallas Morning News reports. Webb is currently slated for a significant role in the Cowboys' defense amid concerns at cornerback. Former first-rounder Morris Claiborne (shoulder) continues have durability issues, while Orlando Scandrick faces a four game suspension to begin this season. Knowing that, Dallas can't risk another setback in their secondary, so Webb will be withheld from Saturday's exhibition in hopes of returning healthy by Week 1 of the regular season.

Webb got into a brief altercation with an unidentified fan during a brawl at Tuesday's joint practice with the Raiders, ESPN.com reports. The brawl started when Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne slammed Raiders tight end Mychal Rivera to the turf near the sideline near a section of Raiders fans. An unidentified Raiders fan hit Webb in the back twice with his hand and a third time with a helmet before Webb swiped at the fan with his right hand as the brawl broke up.

ESPN Dallas has Cowboys second-year CB B.W. Webb on the outside looking in at a 53-man roster spot. Webb, the 114th pick in last year's draft, played 185 defensive snaps as a rookie, allowing 11-of-13 passes thrown at him to be completed for 131 yards and three touchdowns and a 148.2 passer rating. He then had an underwhelming spring. Sterling Moore and seventh-round rookie CB Terrance Mitchell are ahead of Webb on the depth chart heading into camp. Webb was initially viewed as the heir apparent to slot corner Orlando Scandrick.

The Dallas Morning News expects fourth-round CB B.W. Webb to "make an impact" this season. Webb wasn't drafted to start, but he should see immediate playing time in nickel and dime packages. The Cowboys view Webb as the eventual replacement for current slot corner Orlando Scandrick. Webb has generated a ton of buzz since minicamp and shouldn't have any trouble finding his way on the field as a rookie.

Cowboys fourth-round CB B.W. Webb is a player that stood out at rookie minicamp. Bryan Broaddus of the team's official website has mentioned Webb on numerous occasions over the last few days, and owner/GM Jerry Jones also talked Webb up in a radio interview on Monday. Jones expects Webb to see immediate snaps on "money" downs -- nickel and dime packages. Nickel corner Orlando Scandrick restructured his contract this offseason, but his salary spikes to $3.5 million in 2014 and $5 million in 2015 and 2016. He might not see any of that money.
