Howard signed with the Browns' practice squad Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Howard was originally signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina but was unable to make the team's final roster. He'll serve as an emergency option at wide receiver in Cleveland as part of their practice roster.

Howard had two receptions for 35 yards in Saturday's preseason win over Pittsbugh.
EDGE Analysis
Howard has five receptions for 54 yards in three preseason games. He probably hasn't shown enough spark with the third-team offense to win a spot on the 53-man roster.

Howard has agreed to terms with the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Howard was not selected in the 2017 NFL Draft but will have a chance to make the Colts roster nonetheless. Indianapolis is fairly stacked at receiver, though, so Howard will need to be impressive in training camp in order to make it through final roster cuts.
