Miller has been adapting well to his new position of tight end, showing impressive route-running ability, CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller was moved from fullback to tight end when Chip Kelly came to town due the new coach not having fullback as a position on his depth chart. He has always been a great playmaker at the fullback position, but never had enough plays drawn up for him to make any sort of fantasy impact. If Miller were to jump up the depth chart and carve out a significant role this preseason, then he could have deep league value at the tight end position after posting a career-high 13.5 YPC as a fullback last season.

Miller was informed that he will be a tight end this season, Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller was seen taking snaps at tight end during the 49ers' offseason program. Running backs coach Tom Rathman made it official by telling Miller that he no longer has a spot in the running back room. This move should come as no surprise, as new head coach Chip Kelly rarely uses a fullback in his offensive attack. Miller will have a lot of competition for targets as a tight end, but he did put up a career-high 13.5 YPC in 2015, so there is some potential there if he has a significant role this season.

Miller has been mixing in snaps at tight end during the 49ers' offseason program, CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller has served as the team's fullback for the past five seasons, but he did see limited snaps at tight end last year. The reason for the potential role change is Chip Kelly's read-option offense, which doesn't utilize a fullback. Miller's versatile skill set and good hands (76 career receptions for 734 yards) should make the transition seamless, and he should be in the mix for snaps during training camp.

Miller went for a career-high 89 yards on three catches in Sunday's win over Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
Miller went unaccounted for on a couple occasions, and the veteran fullback made the Ravens pay. He has been involved in the passing game in the past, but has been almost invisible before Sunday's outburst. Miller could see more targets going forward given the lack of production from the tight end position this season, but not enough to make him fantasy relevant.

Miller has pleaded no contest to his disturbing the peace charge and will rejoin the 49ers' preseason activities, CSN Bay Area reports. It didn't sound good for Miller when he was arrested on domestic violence charges this March. But once the investigation was complete, they found that there was no physical assault stemming from the argument with his then-fiancee. Assuming this matter is indeed put behind him, Miller can get started on competing for the starting fullback role with teammate Trey Millard.

Miller was arrested last Thursday in Santa Clara, CA on suspicion of domestic abuse, the San Jose Mercury News reports. The case has been transferred to the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office, but no matter what comes to light in the coming weeks and months, Miller will likely be subject to suspension once his legal matters are resolved.

Miller caught three passes for 17 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. Miller didn't have a spectacular season from a fantasy perspective, but he saw increased usage in the second half of the season when injuries and lack of production from the 49ers' tight ends forced Colin Kaepernick to look elsewhere for checkdowns. He will be used in a similar role in 2015, which will help the 49ers' offense, but won't provide enough usage to help those in fantasy.

Miller caught four passes for a season-high 56 yards in Sunday's loss to Seattle. He also carried the ball two times for four yards. Miller was asked to take on a bigger receiving role with Garrett Celek (ankle) leaving the game with an injury. That is now three consecutive weeks where Miller has shown deep league production. His Swiss-army knife style of play is very useful for a 49ers' offense that is dealing with a plethora of injuries, and it could result in another marginally useful performance next week against the Chargers. Just keep in mind that his ceiling is pretty low.

Miller caught his only target and took it to the house for an eight-yard score in Sunday's loss to the Raiders. Miller caught the only touchdown of the game, and then disappeared after the first-quarter score. He has shown a little play-making ability in the past, but with so many receiving options in San Francisco, Miller is nothing more than a safety valve for Colin Kaepernick at this point.
