Showing up out of shape is a sure way to land on coach Bill Belichick's bad side. Scaife is no lock to get back in the NFL.

He could be a third-stringer in St. Louis behind Lance Kendricks and Michael Hoomanawanui, or a backup to Jermaine Gresham in Cincinnati. Scaife lacks any hint of playmaking ability as a receiver, however, and is also a poor blocker.
