BenJarvus Green-Ellis (hamstring) returned to a full practice Friday and is listed as probable for the Wild Card Round. Green-Ellis will be in the starting lineup against a Texans defense that typically stymies inside runners like him. The Bengals would be smart to scale back Law Firm's role in the first round of the playoffs with his hamstring less than 100 percent in a rough matchup. Cedric Peerman deserves more touches.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis (hamstring) was limited again in Thursday's practice. The Lawfirm is expected to start Saturday's game, but he's not a strong fantasy option at less than full strength against one of the league's stingiest run defenses.

Bengals OC Jay Gruden said Tuesday that it looks like BenJarvus Green-Ellis (hamstring) will be "fine" for Saturday's game at Houston. Green-Ellis sat out Tuesday's practice, but got some running in on the side. Gruden characterized the injury as "a little twinge," and insisted the game plan won't change even if Cedric Peerman and Brian Leonard take some of the load. At less than 100 percent and facing a defense that allowed the fewest points to opposing backs, BJGE is shaky pick in fantasy leagues.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis (hamstring) was held out of Tuesday's practice. The Lawfirm tested his hamstring by running on the side. Coach Marvin Lewis wasn't forthcoming with an update earlier in the day, stating only that Green-Ellis will be ready "at some point." We won't have a good read on BJGE's status for Saturday night's game until later in the week. His backups are Cedric Peerman and Brian Leonard.

After experiencing hamstring tightness in pregame warmups, BenJarvus Green-Ellis' status for Saturday's Wild-Card round game at Houston is unclear. "I don't know how severe it is," coach Marvin Lewis said. "He just didn't feel right in warmups today, so we held him out. He was a little tight." The Bengals were likely exercising more caution than usual in a meaningless game. With a Saturday game on the docket, the week's first practice report should come out on Tuesday rather than Wednesday.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis (illness) returned to practice on Friday. Green-Ellis is good to go for Sunday's tuneup against the Ravens. Cincinnati will not rest their starters, but BJGE could see just a limited workload while the Bengals try to keep him fresh for the playoffs.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis (illness) did not practice on Thursday. Green-Ellis should be fine for Sunday's game against the Ravens, but with a playoff spot already locked up, Cincinnati coaches could scale back his workload in order to have him in tip-top shape for a postseason run.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for 14 yards on 15 carries in Sunday's win over the Steelers. Green-Ellis had been one of the more reliable running backs this year, and averaged over 108 yards rushing in his last five games coming into Sunday's matchup with the Steelers. He had more carries than yards going into the half and it stayed that way the entire game. He'll look to bounce back with a full workload in next week's AFC North showdown with the Ravens.
