Benjamin Watson Flashes With 71 Receiving Yards rotoballer.com Sun 9/23/18 9:13 PM

New Orleans Saints tight end Benjamin Watson caught five passes for 71 yards in the Saints overtime win over the Falcons in Week 3. Watson hauled in an impressive 27-yard catch in the first half to bring the offense into the red zone. The veteran has been quiet to this point in a potent passing attack but made some plays against the Falcons. Watson is a fringe fantasy tight end but should continue to targets in an offense led by elite quarterback Drew Brees.

Week 3 Rankings Analysis - Nick Mariano vs. ECR rotoballer.com Thu 9/20/18 8:00 AM

Welcome, one and all, to the weekly piece that puts my rankings under the microscope and gives me a chance to explain myself against the Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) found on FantasyPros. My hope is to help you understand why I'm significantly higher or lower on players than the expert crowd. I'll be examining my own ranks against the ECR on a position-by-position basis, as the overall and flex tabs can simply get insane with every position folded in with the others. I focus on QB, RB, WR,[...]

Benjamin Watson Not Fantasy Viable Right Now rotoballer.com Wed 9/19/18 4:57 PM

New Orleans Saints tight end Benjamin Watson will take on a Falcons defense in Week 3 that, through two games, has allowed the seventh fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Watson has been non-existent through the first few weeks of the season with seven catches for 63 yards. The veteran is still looking for ways to get into the flow of the offense but it may take some time. Watson should remain on the fantasy bench until his targets begin to increase.

Benjamin Watson Totals 19 Yards In Victory rotoballer.com Sun 9/16/18 4:53 PM

New Orleans Saints tight end Benjamin Watson caught three passes for 19 yards in the Saints 21-18 win over the Browns. The Saints struggled on offense in the first half and took a fantastic fourth quarter from quarterback Drew Brees to sneak out the victory. Watson is a sure-handed veteran but isn't a huge part of the Saints explosive offensive attack. The veteran has value in the red zone but is a fringe fantasy option, at best, moving forward.

Heroes and Zeroes - Week 2 Fantasy Football Picks rotoballer.com Fri 9/14/18 12:10 PM

I'm an introspective type of fellow, so in preparation for this season's first edition of Heroes and Zeroes (don't look for Week 1, it's in the clouds somewhere along with the missing episode of South Park), I decided to look back at some of last season's articles when I stumbled across this intro to a recommendation for Chris Godwin as a Week 10 streamer: "You know, Ryan Fitzpatrick isn't terrible...  *ducks under desk Disgruntled Jets fans have cast him aside long ago, but for a backup QB h[...]
