Roethlisberger (hip/pectoral) didn't practice Wednesday, but he plans to play in Sunday's game against the Broncos, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran QB picked up a hip injury on top of his pectoral injury during a Week 4 loss to the Packers. It sounds like he'll continue to have limited practice reps followed by full workloads on Sundays, for however long he's able to maintain that in a Pittsburgh offense with shaky line play and little-to-no running game.

Roethlisberger is dealing with a hip injury in the aftermath of the Steelers' Week 4 loss at Green Bay, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Already this season, Roethlisberger has tended to a left pectoral injury, which kept him out of some practices the past two weeks. Still, he was able to overcome it and suit up Weeks 3 and 4. Coach Mike Tomlin told Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com that Roethlisberger may have his practice reps capped yet again this week.

Roethlisberger completed 26 of 40 passes for 232 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Roethlisberger dealt with a pectoral injury early in the week, but his passing volume remained high in Sunday's Week 4 matchup. He's now logged at least 40 pass attempts in each of the last three games. However, the 39-year-old averaged just 5.8 yards per attempt and was unable to generate much fantasy production against Green Bay's defense. Through the first four games of the season, Roethlisberger has passed for 1,033 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions. He faces a tough matchup at home against the Broncos in Week 5.

Roethlisberger (pectoral) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Roethlisberger was withheld from Wednesday's practice due to the pectoral injury that first cropped up following a Week 2 loss to the Raiders, but his return to full activity a day later suggests that he may just have been receiving a maintenance day to begin Week 4 prep. Even though Roethlisberger is on track to play Sunday in Green Bay, his early season form hasn't inspired much confidence. Through three games, Roethlisberger has as many touchdowns (three) as interceptions, and his 6.2 yards per attempt rank 25th among the 33 quarterbacks who have thrown at least 30 passes this season.

Roethlisberger (pectoral) didn't practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Roethlisberger missed practice last Wednesday before upgrading to limited participation Thursday and full on Friday. He could follow the same routine this week, as there was no report of a setback after his 58 pass attempts in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Bengals. The veteran QB likely will tough it out again Week 4 at Green Bay, but it remains to be seen if he'll have Diontae Johnson (knee) and/or JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) available to catch passes.

Roethlisberger completed 38 of 58 passes for 318 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Bengals. He added five yards on his lone rushing attempt.
EDGE Analysis
Roethlisberger got off to an atrocious start, going 3-for-7 for eight yards and an interception over Pittsburgh's first three drives. He settled down after that and adapted to the absence of favorite receiver Diontae Johnson (knee), finding rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth for a four-yard touchdown to tie the game late in the second quarter. Attrition caught up to the Steelers' passing game in the second half, as JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) left the game and Chase Claypool needed attention for a shoulder injury, while Roethlisberger was picked off a second time. The veteran quarterback ended up with a solid yardage total thanks to extensive volume, but his poor play was a major factor in this loss, as the Bengals capitalized on the short field with touchdown drives after both of his interceptions. Given the injury-riddled state of Pittsburgh's offense, Roethlisberger will be hard to trust in Week 4, even against the underperforming Packers defense.

Roethlisberger (left pectoral) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bengals after practicing fully Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Roethlisberger didn't practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday, but his return to a full session Friday paves the way for him to start at QB for the Steelers this weekend. With Diontae Johnson (knee) having been ruled out for Sunday's contest, the team's Week 3 wideout corps will be led by JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool and James Washington.

Roethlisberger (left pectoral) returned to a limited practice Thursday, Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
Roethlisberger's return to practice, albeit in a limited capacity, bodes well for his chances of suiting up for Sunday's game against the Bengals. For his part, the QB noted Wednesday that he plans to do "everything he can" to be available this weekend, Brooke Pryor of ESPN reports. Friday's final injury report of the week will reveal whether or not Roethlisberger (whose top backup is Mason Rudolph) will approach Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff carrying a Week 3 injury designation.

Roethlisberger (pectoral) didn't practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Steelers expect Roethlisberger to play in Sunday's game against the Bengals, though he'll presumably be dealing with pain/discomfort in his left pectoral. It's unclear if that will impact his arm strength or accuracy, and the Steelers likely will limit his workload even if he returns to practice Thursday/Friday. Roethlisberger said Wednesday that he'll do "everything he can" to play in Sunday's game, adding that he doesn't yet know if the injury will impact his throwing motion, ESPN's Brooke Pryor reports.

The Steelers expect Roethlisberger (pectoral) to play in Sunday's game against the Bengals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
While he's expected to play through the injury to his left pectoral, Roethlisberger likely will be limited in practice to start the week. Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (knee) also figures to be on the injury report, with his status for Week 3 in serious question.
