Jackson (toe) has been placed on the Ravens' injured reserve/designated to return list, The Baltimore Sun reports. Jackson suffered a severely sprained toe during last weekend's game and will now be sidelined until at least Week 15. His absence comes as a considerable blow to the Ravens' defense, as Jackson started four of the team's five games thus far due to fellow cornerback Lardarius Webb (back) being injured. Prior to going down Sunday, Jackson had registered 19 tackles (16 solo) on the campaign. In a corresponding roster move, Baltimore signed Dominique Franks on Wednesday to improve the depth of their secondary.

Jackson is dealing with a severely sprained toe, the Baltimore Sun reports. The report suggests that Jackson -- who has 19 tackles in five games to date -- could be be placed on injured reserve-designated to return by the Ravens, which would represent a significant hit to the team's depth at cornerback.

Jackson (concussion) is active for Sunday's game against the Browns. Jackson suffered a concussion in Week 2 against the Steelers, though he's had extra time to recover with that game coming last Thursday. He'll work as a nickel corner Sunday, with Lardarius Web and Jimmy Smith both healthy.

Jackson (concussion) is probable for Sunday's game in Cleveland, the Ravens' official website reports. With Lardarius Webb (back) also probable, Jackson will likely work as the nickel corner against a Cleveland offense that lacks talent at wide receiver. Jackson might warrant deep-league IDP consideration later in the season if he gets another chance to step in for Webb or Jimmy Smith as a starter.

Jackson (concussion) was a full practice participant both Wednesday and Thursday. Jackson thus seems likely to play against the Browns on Sunday, but his role remains rather uncertain. If Lardarius Webb (back) returns, Jackson will likely work as the nickel corner. If not, either Jackson or Chykie Brown will start across from Jimmy Smith. Brown got the nod in Week 1, but was then replaced by Jackson for Week 2. IDP owners likely want to avoid the situation altogether, as neither Brown nor Jackson offers much long-term appeal.

Jackson left Thursday's contest against the Steelers with a concussion and won't return, the Baltimore Sun reports. The loss of Jackson on Thursday further taxes a Ravens' secondary that was already operating without fellow cornerback Lardarius Webb.

Jackson worked as the nickel corner in Sunday's loss to the Bengals, playing 46-of-67 defensive snaps. Chykie Brown got the start in place of Lardarius Webb (back), but that doesn't mean Brown is ahead of Jackson in the pecking order. Once Webb returns, Jackson will likely still be the third corner, with Brown presumably dropping back to fourth.

Jackson (ankle) returned to practice Saturday, The Baltimore Sun reports. Of the Ravens' three injured corners who returned to practice Saturday, Jackson was reportedly the most active. He's the favorite to open the season as the team's No. 3 corner, but could be asked to do something more in Week 1 against the Bengals, as starters Lardarius Webb (back) and Jimmy Smith (chest) are both banged up.

Jackson (ankle) will not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Redskins, the Baltimore Post reports. Jackson's ankle ailment will cost him a second consecutive preseason contest. Additionally, with Lardarius Webb (back) and Jimmy Smith (chest) also out, Jackson's chief competition for the Ravens' No. 3 cornerback position, Chykie Brown, should see extended playing time in Saturday's game.

Jackson (ankle) could play in Saturday's preseason game against the Redskins, The Ravens' official website reports. Health permitting, Jackson figures to open the season as the Ravens' No. 3 cornerback, though there's some chance that Chykie Brown is still in the mix for that role. With Lardarius Webb (back) looking uncertain for Week 1, Jackson could come into some surprising early-season IDP value.
