Boldin has decided to return for a 15th NFL season, ESPN's Jim Trotter reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boldin led the Lions with eight touchdown receptions despite being 36 years old this past season. Although the veteran is mostly a short-yardage target at this point in his decorated career, he's still posted at least 55 receptions and 580 in each of his previous 14 campaigns. With that remarkable consistency, Boldin should now have a number of suitors as a free agent.

Boldin hinted he is open to playing again in 2017, ESPN reports. "There's still a passion that burns within me for football," admitted the veteran receiver.
EDGE Analysis
Boldin notched nine touchdowns in 2016, good for ninth in the league and a particularly impressive feat considering he turned 36 in October. The veteran was arguably one of the best free-agent signings of the year and shouldn't have a hard time finding a suitor if he decides to continue his playing career.

Boldin caught two of six targets for 24 yards during the Lions' 26-6 postseason loss to the Seahawks on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Boldin had been a savvy route runner all season for Detroit but was simply unable to create much separation against a Seahawks' secondary ranking top-10 in passing yards allowed per game this year. The quiet finish doesn't take away from Boldin's fantastic 2016 campaign, though, one in which the 36-year-old vet totaled 67 receptions and eight touchdowns. Now set to enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, Boldin looks to have plenty left in the tank at this stage in his career and should have no problem landing a new contract.

Boldin caught four of six targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Green Bay.
EDGE Analysis
There had been a ton of talk heading into Sunday's game about the status of Boldin's finger. It didn't seem to make too much of a difference. The veteran logged his highest snap count since Week 2 and put together one of his better performances of the season, aided in large part by a last-second leaping touchdown grab that went for 35 yards. Sunday's loss, however, means that Boldin's next test will be against Seattle's top-10 pass defense.

Boldin's finger injury suffered Monday night against the Cowboys has noticeably impacted him during practice this week, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boldin was forced into a brief first-half exit after hurting his left ring finger Monday, which has resulted in him wearing a splint in practice this week. The wideout has also avoided catching with his left hand recently in an effort to prevent further damage ahead of Sunday night's decisive meeting with the Packers. Although Boldin hasn't appeared on Detroit's injury report due to the ailment, if he's at all limited in that contest, tight end Eric Ebron could become more important in short-yardage passing situations.

Boldin caught five of seven targets for 33 yards Monday night against the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Boldin temporarily left the game in the first quarter with a finger injury but was back out on the field for the start of the second half. He ultimately finished second on the team in targets. However, he predictably produced a modest yardage total considering Boldin's lack of explosiveness at this point in the veteran's career. He'll look to finish the season strong next Sunday against a Packers defense that has given up a league-worst 8.0 YPA to quarterbacks in 2016. With the NFC North crown on the line, look for the Lions offense to come out firing.

Boldin (finger) returned to Monday's tilt with the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Boldin was spotted back on the field to begin the second half. Fellow wideout Andre Roberts (shoulder) also returned to the the game, a reassuring sign for the Lions' offense.

Boldin suffered a finger injury Monday against the Cowboys and is questionable to return, Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Look for more updates to come in the second half of the game. Fellow wideout Andre Roberts suffered a shoulder injury in the game, leaving TJ Jones to take over in the slot.

Boldin caught three of four targets for 13 yards during Sunday's 17-6 loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The Lions were unable to get much of anything going offensively Sunday. Consequently, they seldom came close to reaching the end zone, rendering Boldin's savvy as a red-zone threat, and subsequently his fantasy production, near useless. He'll look to bounce back in Week 16 against the Cowboys.

Boldin caught three of six targets for 49 yards and one touchdown Sunday against the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Boldin is making his case as one of the best free agent signings of the offseason as he continues his assault on the receiving touchdown leaderboards. He now has five in the past eight games and his seven scores are ninth-most in the league. The veteran was particularly explosive Sunday, too, logging his highest yards per reception clip of the season. What's more, his second catch of the game pushed him past Andre Johnson into 10th on the all-time receptions list. He'll look to keep it going against a beatable Giants defense that hasn't fared much better against the pass when playing at home this season.
