Levitre (triceps) announced his retirement from the league Tuesday via his personal Twitter account.
EDGE Analysis
Levitre proved to be a remarkably durable player throughout his first nine years as a pro, suiting up for 141 consecutive games for the Bills, Titans and Falcons between 2009 and 2017. A partially torn triceps at the end of the 2017 season forced him to miss Atlanta's run to the divisional round of the playoffs, and the injury re-emerged in September, forcing him to miss 14 of 16 games. Initially a second-round draft choice of Buffalo, Levitre never made a Pro Bowl appearance, but he was a quality starter for two playoff Falcons playoff teams, and played every offensive snap in the Super Bowl LI loss to New England.

The Falcons placed Levirte (triceps) on injured reserve Tuesday, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levitre -- who injured his triceps during Sunday's victory over the Panthers -- is set to miss the remainder of the season. Wes Schweitzer is expected to replace Levitre at left guard.

Levitre (elbow) is ruled out for Sunday's game after suffering an elbow injury, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levitre was initially listed as questionable to return, but ultimately will remain sidelined for the remainder of Sunday's contest. Ben Garland will serve as Levitre's replacement until the 32-year-old is able to get healthy.

Levitre is questionable to return to Sunday's game after suffering an elbow injury, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The questionable diagnosis hints that the injury isn't likely to keep Levitre sidelined for an extended period of time. Whether he'll be able to return to Sunday's contest is still unknown, but the injury doesn't seem to be too serious moving forward.

Levitre (elbow) was a full participant in Friday's practice, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levitre was limited in Thursday's practice due to an elbow injury but appears to have fully recovered. The 32-year-old played all 70 offensive snaps in Atlanta's season opener, and looks primed to start against the Panthers on Sunday.

Levitre was a limited participant at Thursday's practice with an elbow injury, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levitre missed time at the end of last season with a triceps injury but avoided the Physically Unable to Perform list and played all 70 offensive snaps in last Thursday's season opener. The 32-year-old was not listed on the injury report Wednesday, and his workload at Friday's practice should provide more clarity on his status for Week 2.

Levitre (triceps) played 14 offensive snaps during the Falcons' preseason loss to the Chiefs on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Levitre was on the field for 25 percent of Atlanta's offensive snaps Friday, as the triceps injury that forced his 2017 campaign to end prematurely appears to fully healed at this point. The 32-year-old is slated to once again start at left guard in 2018.

Levitre (triceps) will be limited in practice at the start of training camp as he continues to recover from a triceps tear suffered in Week 13 of last season, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andy "Ironman" Levitre did not miss a start through his first eight NFL seasons, that is, until he suffered a triceps injury in an early-December tilt with the Vikings. Levitre admirably tried to return four weeks later in Week 17, but re-aggravated the muscle and was subsequently placed on the injured reserve, leaving Ben Garland as his replacement at offensive guard for Atlanta's postseason run. Although not fully recuperated at this juncture of the offseason program, Levitre's avoidance of the physically unable to perform list bodes well for his availability by the end of the preseason.

Levitre (triceps) is still in recovery from triceps and knee injuries, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "He's making a push (to return)," head coach Dan Quinn said Tuesday. "Our goal would be at the end of minicamp. I'm not saying he'll play at that spot, but he's making a push to be ready right around then. He was dealing with his knee and triceps. He's really put in good work. I'm excited about where he's been over the last six weeks. When you see those big jumps take place, that's certainly happened with him."
EDGE Analysis
Levitre was already dealing with an undisclosed knee injury last November before suffering a partially torn left triceps in December. The nine-year vet was a modicum of durability before then, though, starting 140 consecutive games. By the sound of Quinn's words, it seems Levitre should be fully back in action by the time training camp starts up in late July.

Levitre and the Falcons have agreed on revised contract terms which will keep the veteran offensive guard in Atlanta through next season, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
In an effort to improve financial flexibility with the free agency period fast approaching, Levitre and the Falcons have agreed to terms which will better allow the team to add difference makers to the roster in the coming months. The veteran offensive guard has displayed remarkable durability in his career, starting in 140 consecutive games before being sidelined late in the season with a triceps injury. Despite head coach Dan Quinn hinting at the probability of Atlanta infusing youth into their interior offensive line, the 31-year-old Levitre returns to a group that tied for the third-fewest sacks allowed in 2017.
