Wingard (core muscle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wingard appears to have fully recovered from the core muscle injury that forced him out of last Thursday's loss to the Dolphins. He's on track to draw his usual start at safety in Cincinnati on Sunday.

Wingard suffered a minor groin pull during Thursday's 31-13 loss to the Dolphins, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wingard was ruled out from returning to Thursday's contest due to what was initially disclosed as a core muscle injury, but the results of his MRI on Friday have eliminated the possibility of a sports hernia. The starting safety will get the benefit of three extra days to get healthy before the Jaguars visit Cincinnati in Week 4.

Wingard was ruled out of the remainder of Thursday's game against Miami with a core muscle injury.
EDGE Analysis
Wingard's absence will leave the team thin at safety going forward, as Brandon Watson is the only healthy free safety dressed Thursday. Watson will step in as the starter Thursday, and Wingard will have an extra few days to recover before his team is back out there in Week 4 against Cincinnati.

The Jaguars activated Wingard (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Along with teammates (and roommates) Gardner Minshew and Michael Walker, Wingard found himself on the COVID list due to recent exposure to someone who tested positive for the virus. With his health not in question, Wingard can focus on locking down his roles as a depth safety and on special teams from a year ago.

The Jaguars placed Wingard (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Undrafted out of Wyoming last season, Wingard played significant snaps Weeks 12-14 for an injured Ronnie Harrison but otherwise was almost exclusively a special-teamer. Overall, he finished with 30 tackles (22 solo), one sack and one forced fumble in 16 games. As the Jags kick off camp, Wingard will have to wait until he passes the required tests before he can join his teammates.

Wingard had 30 tackles (22 solo), one sack and one forced fumble in 16 games this season.
EDGE Analysis
The undrafted rookie from Wyoming received two spot starts in place of an injured Ronnie Harrison in Weeks 13 and 14, but he otherwise primary played special teams. Both Jacksonville's starting safeties -- Harrison and Jarrod Wilson -- remain under contract for 2020, leaving Wingard in position to retain his reserve role.

Wingard had seven tackles (six solo), a forced fumble and a sack in Sunday's 28-11 loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old received the first start of his career in place of Ronnie Harrison (concussion) on Sunday, and he immediately provided solid IDP production. Wingard should continue to start until Harrison clears the concussion protocol, but his lack of previous playing time would make him a somewhat risky fantasy option.

Wingard will start at strong safety Sunday versus Tampa Bay, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wingard stepped in to play 42 defensive snaps last week at Tennessee after Ronnie Harrison suffered a concussion, and he'll now make his first career start with Harrison still sidelined. Wingard had five tackles (three solo) despite the limited workload last week, but the pass-happy Buccaneers may provide fewer tackle opportunities than the run-heavy Titans.

Wingard signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Wingard was mostly projected as a mid-round prospect, but the Jaguars were able to sign him after the draft. Wingard and fellow undrafted signee Zedrick Woods will likely compete for a reserve role at free safety.
