Rodgers (groin/knee) completed 37 of 55 passes for 442 yards and two touchdowns while adding 32 yards and two touchdowns on five carries and running in a two-point conversion in Sunday's 44-38 overtime win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Given how effective he was with his legs, it's safe to say Rodgers wasn't at all limited by the groin injury he picked up last week. The veteran quarterback's pair of passing touchdowns were a 49-yarder to Jake Kumerow and a 16-yarder to Davante Adams, the latter of which won the game in overtime. That game-winning touchdown was set up by a pair of one-yard Rodgers rushing scores in the fourth quarter. Owners who stuck with Rodgers through this down season by his lofty standards were handsomely rewarded in what was the Championship round for most fantasy leagues. Rodgers will likely be productive in Week 17 as well given his history of dominating the Lions.

Rodgers (groin/knee) expects to play in Sunday's road game against the Jets, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. "I want to be out there with the guys, and I look forward to being out there," Rodgers said Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
After Sunday's loss at Chicago, Rodgers opened a can of worms by admitting he tweaked his groin, which he continued to play through but also required stretching out a number of times after halftime. Interim coach Joe Philbin commented on the situation Monday, telling Demovsky that the Packers had no intention of shutting down Rodgers for the season with the playoffs not a possibility. Per Michael Cohen of The Athletic, Rodgers opened Week 16 prep with a full practice session Wednesday, ending any debate over whether or not the signal-caller will be out there this weekend.

Rodgers (groin) took the initial reps during the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers' Week 16 availability against the Jets is in question due to a groin injury suffered this past Sunday in Chicago. If he has his way, he expects to continue leading the Packers offense for the final two games of the season, despite having no chance at a postseason appearance. That said, interim coach Joe Philbin told Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette on Wednesday the team will evaluate Rodgers all week before coming to a decision.

Interim coach Joe Philbin relayed that he's "hopeful" Rodgers (groin) will practice Wednesday and added that the Packers would take the full week to decide if the quarterback will play Sunday against the Jets, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers tweaked his groin late in the first half of the Week 15 loss to the Bears, but ultimately stayed in the contest and completed 25 of 42 attempts for 274 yards, no touchdowns and an interception, his first since Week 4. With the loss officially ending the Packers' bid for the playoffs, there's reason to think the team could exercise some caution with its star signal-caller for the final two games of the regular season. Philbin noted earlier in the week that Rodgers won't be automatically shut down, however, so if the 35-year-old is able to log some practice reps by Friday, there's a good chance he'll be under center this weekend.

Head coach Joe Philbin relayed Monday that he has no plans to shut down Rodgers (groin) for the final two weeks of the season, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports. "I think when you sign up for the 2018 NFL season, you sign up for a 16-game season and hopefully you earn the opportunity to extend that and to compete for a championship," said Philbin. "Obviously, the extension part is over. That being said, you're a football player, you're part of a team and your one role is to the contribute to the overall success of the team."
EDGE Analysis
The Packers' elimination from playoff contention following the team's Week 15 loss to the Bears won't prevent Rodgers from taking the field in Week 16, but a groin issue that surfaced during the contest still casts some doubt on whether he will take the field. Even if Rodgers does play, he could be without a pair of weapons in Randall Cobb (concussion) and Aaron Jones (knee), who both exited Sunday's game against the Bears due to injury. If Rodgers is ultimately unable to suit up, Deshone Kizer would presumably take over under center for the Packers' Week 16 matchup against the Jets.

Coach Joe Philbin didn't touch on Rodgers' groin injury Monday, the Packers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After Sunday's 24-17 defeat in Chicago, Rodgers told Michael Cohen of The Athletic that he tweaked his groin on a last-second Hail Mary heave at the end of the first half. Rodgers intends to play out the string of a season that won't include a playoff appearance for a second consecutive year, but the injury could cause the Packers to exercise caution with their $134-million dollar man. DeShone Kizer would be the next quarterback up if Rodgers misses any time, whether it's in practice or a game.

Rodgers said his groin tightened up during Sunday's 24-14 defeat at Chicago, Michael Cohen of The Athletic reports. "I'd like to be out there and lead us the last two weeks," Rodgers told Cohen in the post-game media session.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers tweaked his groin on a Hail Mary attempt at the end of the first half that was batted to the ground. With the Packers in catch-up mode all game, he attempted more than 40 passes (42, to be precise) for the eighth time in 14 games on the season, but his 274 yards were his most since Week 11. He also failed to record a touchdown throw for the first time since he was knocked out of a Week 6 contest at Minnesota last season. Finally, his streak without an interception was snapped at 402 pass attempts. With the Packers out of playoff contention, the team may think about shutting down Rodgers if his groin injury is at all serious, but first his practice reps should be monitored to see if an absence is possible.

Rodgers completed 24 of 42 passes for 274 yards and an interception during Sunday's 24-17 loss to Chicago. He added 25 yards on three carries.
EDGE Analysis
Down by 10 in the closing minutes of the game, Rodgers looked like he was in position to lead a comeback. Instead, after marching to the Chicago 9-yard line, Rodgers was picked in the end zone by Eddie Jackson, effectively sticking a fork in the Packers. Green Bay has been in a tailspin with six losses in the last eight games. Rodgers, depending on who you listen to, has been the cause, the victim, or both. Either way, the two-time MVP has not accounted for more than two touchdowns in a game since Week 5 and has failed to account for multiple touchdowns in three of his last four games, including two games with under 200 passing yards. There probably won't be a cure for whatever ails Rodgers and the Packers until the offseason. In the meantime, next Sunday brings a Jets pass defense ranked in the top 10 in the league in opponent passer rating.

Sun 12/9/18 5:38 PM

Rodgers completed 21 of 32 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns while adding three carries for 44 yards in Sunday's win over the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers started strong as he completed six of seven passes for 62 yards and a touchdown on the opening drive, but still struggled to complete passes downfield for much of the afternoon. The veteran signal caller connected with Randall Cobb for a 24-yard touchdown in the third quarter to push the Packers' lead to 27-7, and Aaron Jones' touchdown run later in the quarter allowed the offense to go into cruise control. Rodgers looked a bit better with interim coach Joe Philbin calling the plays following Mike McCarthy's dismissal, but it's ultimately a fairly disappointing statline against a Falcons defense ranked in the bottom-third of the league against the pass. A tough divisional matchup awaits in Week 15 at Chicago.

Rodgers completed 31 of 50 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown while adding 20 yards on three scrambles in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers' lone touchdown was a 13-yard strike to favorite receiver Davante Adams in the second quarter. The quarterback showed a lot of heart by leading a fourth-quarter touchdown drive to tie the game 17-17 and then putting his team in position to kick a game-tying, 49-yard field goal as time expired (Mason Crosby missed the kick). While Rodgers hasn't lived up to his usual lofty standards this season, the sky's the limit for him in Week 14, when a vulnerable Falcons defense comes to town.
