Ripkowski is listed as the Packers' starting fullback for Week 1.
EDGE Analysis
Ripkowski was pushed by fellow fullback Joe Kerridge during training camp, but Kerridge landed on injured reserve with a calf injury and the Packers don't have any other fullbacks on the roster, so Ripkowski will have the job all to himself to open the regular season. Ripkowski totaled 43 touches a year ago, and he again figures to be more involved in the offense than the average fullback.

Ripkowski played six snaps in Saturday's preseason victory over the Redskins, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com.
EDGE Analysis
Ripkowski was limited to just one special teams snap in the Packers' preseason opener, but he saw his first action on offense Saturday. He will head into 2017 as the Packers' top fullback, and figures to play a more active role in the game plan than most fullbacks after totaling 196 yards and three scores on 43 touches a year ago.

Ripkowski rushed 34 times for 150 yards and caught nine passes (on 10 targets) for 46 yards while scoring three touchdowns in 16 games played during the 2016 regular season.
EDGE Analysis
Ripkowski played 15 games as a rookie last season, earning just one touch along the way, but after the team's ball-carrying options fell victim to injuries this year, the former sixth-round pick enjoyed an expanded role. Despite primarily blocking from his fullback position, Ripkowski proved to capable running between the tackles and catching occasional passes as well. While his lost fumble during Green Bay's NFC championship defeat will surely leave a sour taste in his mouth, Ripkowski can take pride in the role he carved out this season.

Ripkowski had four carries for 24 yards in Sunday's playoff victory over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Ripkowski made the most of his limited opportunities in Sunday's game, averaging six yards per carry. He tallied 76 total yards on 11 touches in the Packers' regular-season finale, but has totaled just 36 yards on eight touches through two playoff games, so it would seem he has moved back into a complimentary role behind primary running back Ty Montgomery.

Ripkowski had two carries for one yard and a touchdown and also caught two passes for 11 yards in Sunday's victory over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Ripkowski did not see anywhere near as much work as he did in the Packers' regular season finale, but he salvaged his day from a fantasy standpoint by plunging in from one yard out late in the contest. Ripkowski figures to continue seeing plenty of snaps in the Packers' backfield given his pass-blocking abilities, but a reprise of his Week 17 performance at any point the rest of the way seems unlikely.

Ripkowski (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's playoff game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Ripkowski, who logged nine carries for 61 yards and two receptions for 15 yards and a touchdown in Week 17's win over the Lions, is in uniform, but it's unclear if the shoulder issue that led to him being listed as questionable Saturday will limit him at all. Also in the mix to handle carries out of the Green Bay backfield Sunday are Ty Montgomery and Christine Michael.

Ripkowski (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's wild-card game versus the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
A full practice participant all week, Ripkowski was curiously downgraded one day before the Packers' postseason opener. In a backfield populated by uncommon faces, namely WR-turned-RB Ty Montgomery, Ripkowski provides a pounding presence to the ground game, which he used to great effect in a Week 17 victory at Detroit. Nine carries for 61 yards is nothing to scoff at, meaning his status will be of interest in advance of Sunday's 4:40 PM ET kickoff.

Ripkowski had nine carries for 61 yards and two receptiosn for 15 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's victory over the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
Ripkowski, normally the Packers' fullback, operated in a different role Sunday, leading all Green Bay running backs in snaps (36, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com), carries, and rushing yards while also finding paydirt. It seems unlikely he will be used the same way in Sunday's playoff matchup with the Giants -- he is a fullback, after all -- but he is probably the best pass blocker in the running back corps, so it's not out of the question, either.

Ripkowski (back) is listed as active Sunday in Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
The bruising fullback will attempt to continue his best John Kuhn imitation, which has resulted in 11 red-zone touches for Ripkowski over the last nine outings. Nevertheless, Ripkowski will be the third option, at best, in the ground game behind Ty Montgomery and Christine Michael (illness).

Ripkowski (back) is considered questionable to play Sunday against the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Ripkowski practiced in full Wednesday but hasn't duplicated that workload since, putting his status into question. However, with Christine Michael (illness) also questionable and James Starks (concussion) deemed doubtful, the Packers could sure use having Ripkowski available as a ball-carrying option behind Ty Montgomery this weekend.
