Wendell Carter
Mon 11/29/21 10:39 PM

Carter finished with eight points (4-11 FG, 0-6 3Pt), 12 rebounds, two assists and a steal in a 101-96 loss to the 76ers on Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
Carter has climbed to a career-high 39 percent shooting from three on 3.9 attempts per game this season, but he couldn't get one to fall Monday. While that clip doesn't translate to strong fantasy value, it's a positive sign for Carter developmentally. He is averaging 13.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and a combined 1.4 steals/blocks in 28.2 minutes per night through 21 appearances.

Gary Harris
Mon 11/29/21 10:38 PM

Harris had 16 points (6-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and two assists Monday, as the Magic fell to the 76ers 101-96.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday marked the highest-scoring effort for Harris on the campaign. He has generated a minus-1.2 WAR this season. This translates to the Magic being multiple points worse offensively and defensively when he's on the floor. By that same metric he's been the fifth-worst player (among qualifiers) in the league this season. That being said, teammate Jalen Suggs fractured his thumb Monday, which could force some fantasy upside to Harris through usage alone. He and R.J. Hampton are worth monitoring in deeper leagues.

Isaiah Roby
Mon 11/29/21 10:38 PM

Roby recorded 17 points (8-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds, one steal and one block during Monday's loss to Houston.
EDGE Analysis
Roby tied for second on the team in scoring, as the forward played well off the bench and finished with a new season high offensively. Roby previously scored in double figures just one other time this year, which was Oct. 27 against the Lakers (13 points). Monday's outing also marked the first time that Roby played since Nov. 22.

Seth Curry
Mon 11/29/21 10:36 PM

Curry scored 24 points (10-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, two steals and an assist during Monday's 101-96 win over the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Curry hit four of his first five shots and never looked back, leading Philadelphia in scoring while being the only starter to shoot over 50 percent. He continues his career-best season, but the return of Joel Embiid (4-16 FG) naturally pushes him further down the offensive totem pole. Curry can be regarded as a sell-high candidate if the right deal presents itself.

DTDKristaps Porzingis
Mon 11/29/21 10:33 PM

Porzingis is questionable to return to Monday's game against Cleveland due to a right ankle sprain, independent NBA writer Marc Stein reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the game out of hand late for the Mavericks, Porzingis will likely remain on the sidelines and rest his sprained right ankle. The forward hasn't missed a matchup since missing five straight games from Oct. 28 to Nov. 3 with a back injury. Porzingis will likely be deemed day-to-day leading up to the Mavericks' next matchup against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Joel Embiid
Mon 11/29/21 10:33 PM

Embiid scored 16 points (4-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-10 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists and two blocks over 30 minutes in a 101-96 win over the Magic on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Embiid couldn't replicate his 42-point, 14-rebound master class from his return to action Saturday, instead struggling with efficiency Monday. Regardless, Embiid seems healthy and has been aggressive in getting to the charity stripe (31 free throws in his past two games). Monday's double-double is a fair indication of Embiid's fantasy floor moving forward.

Tyrese Maxey
Mon 11/29/21 10:31 PM

Maxey posted nine points (2-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine assists, eight rebounds and a block across 32 minutes during a 101-96 win over the Magic on Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
Maxey's double-digit scoring streak was snapped at 16 games, but Monday marked the fourth game in a row Maxey has failed to shoot 40 percent from the field. Luckily for shareholders, he has averaged a healthy 6.8 assists over that stretch. The 21-year-old is averaging 35.7 minutes per game.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Mon 11/29/21 10:29 PM

Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 22 points (9-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-6 FT), four assists, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks during Monday's loss to Houston.
EDGE Analysis
Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder by a hefty margin in scoring among starters, as the entire team collectedly struggled from the field and shot just 35.6 precent. Gilgeous-Alexander managed to convert 45.0 precent overall from the floor en route to his second straight game reaching the 15-point mark. However, his 2-for-6 outing at the charity stripe was his worst performance by far of the season. Gilgeous-Alexander currently leads the Thunder in points and steals and is second in assists behind Josh Giddey.

OUTJalen Suggs
Mon 11/29/21 9:47 PM

Suggs (thumb) will be out for an extended period of time after suffering a fractured right thumb during Monday's game against the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
This is devastating news for the rookie, as the guard has been finding his groove with the Magic to start the season. Reportedly, Suggs has suffered a fracture in his right thumb, and it'll likely keep him sidelined for at least the next three games versus the Nuggets, Rockets and Warriors. Depending on the severity of the fracture however, Suggs' absence may have to be prolonged well into late next week at the earliest. In his absence, expect R.J. Hampton and Mychal Mulder to lsee increased roles to help fill out the guard position for the Magic.

Franz Wagner
Mon 11/29/21 9:26 PM

Wagner racked up 27 points (11-24 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists and a steal over 38 minutes in a 101-96 loss to the 76ers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Wagner easily surpassed his previous high in attempted field goals (18) and led all scorers in the contest. Wagner hadn't hit the 20-point threshold in nearly a month, but nonetheless he has now strung together four consecutive solid outings. He became the sixth Orlando rookie to ever record a 25/5/5 game. Wagner will look to stay hot Wednesday against Denver.
