Johnson is questionable for Wednesday's contest against the Clippers due to a sprained right ankle, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson emerged from Sunday's game against the Kings with a sprained ankle, and he may have to sit out Wednesday's contest. He's struggled in his first two games as a member of the Suns, shooting just 23.8 percent. If Johnson is ultimately held out against the Clippers, Elie Okobo figures to see extra run.

Johnson tallied nine points (4-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 32 minutes during Sunday's 117-104 loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson moved into the starting lineup Sunday, putting in a much-improved performance when compared to his debut. The biggest takeaway was that he played 32 minutes compared to Elie Okobo's 18 minutes. Devin Booker was back in the lineup which also adds some cred to the playing time. Owners who grabbed Johnson after news of the trade should still hold on to see how things go.

Johnson will draw the start Sunday against the Kings, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson will make his first start for the Suns after being originally scheduled to start in his team debut, but was moved from the starting five at the last minute. Johnson struggled in his debut, shooting just 1-9 in 28 minutes.

Johnson had five points (1-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists, and two steals in 28 minutes during Friday's 117-107 loss to Golden State.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson, who had been slated to start, came off the bench in his debut for the Suns. He played 28 minutes but struggled from the field, ending with just five points. Elie Okobo got the starting nod but was far from impressive and so Johnson is a chance to move into the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Kings. He will likely be better than this on most nights and so if you grabbed him after the trade, it would be advised to hold on for another game or two.

Johnson will come off the bench in his team debut Friday against the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson was expected to enter the starting lineup after passing through the trade formalities, but it's Ellie Okobo who draws another start at point guard. The Suns may want to give Johnson a bit more practice time with his new team prior to inserting him into the starting five, so he could make his first start with Phoenix Sunday in Sacramento.

Johnson (not injury related) will play Friday against the Warriors, Bob Young of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson is slated to make his Suns debut Friday, and he'll probably start at point guard. Overall, his workload may depend on De'Anthony Melton's (ankle) availability. Melton is questionable. When seeing over 30 minutes this season, Johnson has averaged 14.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists on 44.9 percent shooting.

Johnson was traded to the Suns on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Suns, safely in the basement of the Western Conference, will take on Johnson's bloated contract. The guard has a 2019-20 player option for over $19 million, though hasn't lived up to the deal he was given, averaging just 12.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 steal since 2016-17. Regardless, he should help create some stability for the Suns, who have been searching for an NBA-caliber guard to go alongside Devin Booker. Johnson probably won't be the long-term answer, but he's a reasonable stop-gap in the Suns' process. It seems likely the move will result in higher usage, or at least more consistent playing time, for Johnson, who has seen his workload decline over the past three seasons. It's possible he's reached his potential at age 26, but playing in a faster-paced offense could result in increased fantasy value for the 6-foot-4 guard.

Johnson will replace Wayne Ellington in the starting lineup Friday against the Thunder, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson returned from a calf injury Wednesday against the Bulls, coming off the bench and playing 28 minutes. In his most recent five starts, Johnson has averaged 16.8 points, 3.2 assists and 2.8 boards across 32.4 minutes.

Johnson totaled 15 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes in the Heat's loss to the Bulls on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He led the Heat in scoring in an unusually poor team effort on offense. Johnson is good for the occasional scoring outburst, but his peripheral stats have been minimal this year, limiting his upside. His field goal percentage (43.4), three-point percentage (36.9) and free-throw percentage (68.2) leave much to be desired.

Johnson (calf) will "attempt to play" Wednesday against the Bulls, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson missed the Heat's previous game soreness in his left calf, but is feeling improved enough to see the floor. Over his past seven appearances, the guard is averaging 12.0 points, 3.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds on 44.1 percent shooting.
