Lawson will draw the start in Sunday's tilt against the Rockets, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Darren Collison (rest), Tyreke Evans (rest) and Arron Afflalo (rest) all sidelined for Sunday's tilt, Lawson will draw the start at point guard. He's been absent for the past two Kings' games due to rest and has averaged 26.1 minutes per game since the All-Star break -- a possible indication of his workload for Sunday's contest.

Lawson will not play in Friday's game against the Lakers due to rest purposes, Sean Cunningham of ABC10 in Sacramento reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lawson was removed from Tuesday's game against the Mavericks to rest, and that rest will continue on into Friday's contest despite two days of rest in between. Darren Collison is active once again and will likely get the start at point guard, while Langston Galloway is in line to serve as the primary backup in Lawson's absence.

Lawson will sit out Tuesday's game against the Mavericks for rest, Sean Cunningham of ABC10 (KXTV) Sacramento reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Kings continue to rest some of their veterans down the stretch, with Darren Collison and Kosta Koufos also getting the night off Tuesday. Langston Galloway is the only other true point guard on the roster with both Lawson and Collison out, and should see extended minutes, while both Garrett Temple and Tyreke Evans could also spend more time as a ball handler.

Lawson recorded 21 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 11-14 FT), 11 assists, two rebounds and one steal across 25 minutes during a 123-117 win over the Timberwolves on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Lawson turned in possibly his best performance of the season as he paired the scoring and distributing together to gather his first double-double of the season. He also got to the free throw line a season-high 14 times. He vastly outplayed starting point guard Darren Collison, who scored just seven points across 26 minutes. Lawson has scored in double figures in his last four games played. He may be given some more rest as the regular season comes to a close.

Lawson will be rested Friday against the Pelicans, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lawson will get the night off along with Arron Afflalo, Anthony Tolliver, and Kosta Koufos, leaving the Kings with a very thin rotation. Look for Tyreke Evans and Garrett Temple to see expanded minutes off the bench as a result, while Darren Collison will likely see more action as starting point guard. Lawson should return to the lineup Saturday against the Timberwolves.

Lawson (knee) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the Jazz, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lawson has missed two of the previous four games while battling knee soreness, and was ultimately given a questionable designation for Wednesday's game. He appears to be trending toward playing, as the team just upgraded his status to probable. Expect further confirmation as tip-off approaches.

Lawson is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Jazz with quad tendonitis, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lawson had missed time recently with knee soreness, but it appears as though another concern has come about with one of his quadriceps. It's possible the team may just be taking caution with the veteran point guard with the regular season winding down, but regardless, in his absence, look for Darren Collison to handle majority of the point guard duties Wednesday with Langston Galloway potentially filling in as his backup off the bench.

Lawson (knee) returned to the lineup Monday against the Grizzlies and he finished with 10 points (2-3 FG, 6-10 FT) over 19 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Lawson missed Sunday's outing against the Rockets with a sore right knee, but he didn't show any ill effects of the injury in this performance. He dropped 20 points in 24 minutes in Friday's appearance against the Warriors, but you should expect production somewhere in between that outing and Monday's performance.

Lawson won't be available off the bench Sunday against the Rockets due to right knee soreness, Kings sideline reporter Kayte Christensen reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Kings didn't list Lawson on the injury report prior to Sunday's game, so the point guard may have tweaked the knee in pregame warmups. It's likely not a major concern for the point guard, as Sacramento has been holding out their veterans fairly liberally for minor injuries or rest purposes in an effort to evaluate younger options and improve their odds in the draft lottery. Lawson was coming off a 20-point, two-assist performance over 24 minutes in Friday's loss to the Warriors, but don't expect him to deliver many outings of that caliber over the final two and a half weeks of the season. He was averaging just 8.0 points, 5.0 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointer in 22.8 minutes per game in his prior six appearances before the 20-point outburst.

Lawson will get the start at point guard for Friday's matchup against the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
The Kings have opted to give Darren Collison the night off for rest purposes, so Lawson figures carry most of the load at point guard as a result. The veteran is averaging 8.8 points, 3.1 boards, and 5.5 assists in 21 starts this season. Expect him to return to a reserve role in Sunday's game against the Clippers.
