Splitter (leg) is considered questionable to play Thursday against the 76ers, KL Chouinard of Hawks.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Splitter tweaked his right calf last Saturday against the Knicks and has missed the Hawks' last four games, including Tuesday night's 107-101 loss at the hands of the Knicks. The team did not provide an update on Splitter's activity level Wednesday, so it appears we'll have to wait until Thursday morning's shootaround for additional details.

Splitter (leg) has officially been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup with the Knicks, KL Chouinard of Hawks.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This report only confirms the prevailing belief that Splitter will miss at least one more game while recovering from a right calf injury. Splitter could be back on the floor as early as Thursday in Philadelphia or Saturday against the Bulls.

Splitter (calf) remained sidelined at practice Monday, and coach Mike Budenholzer said he does not expect him to be available Tuesday night against the Knicks, KL Chouinard of Hawks.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Splitter has missed the last three games with soreness in his right calf, but he appears at least somewhat close to a return, with Budenholzer saying the team hopes to have him back by the end of the week. As such, he could return as early as Thursday in Philadelphia or Saturday against the Bulls. Either way, Splitter will likely need to put in a full practice before being cleared for game action.

Splitter (calf) did not practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Splitter has not been traveling with the Hawks on their road trip after suffering a calf strain against the Knicks on Saturday. For now, it looks as if Splitter will get a few days off to recover from his injury. It does not look like this will be a long term injury.

Splitter (calf) is set to miss at least the next two games, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Splitter left Saturday's game after just four minutes with a mild calf strain and it will now force him to sit out at least the next two games. If the original timeline is correct, his return would come next Sunday in the Hawks' game against the Knicks. With Splitter sidelined, Mike Muscala and Walter Tavares will take the majority of the backup minutes behind starting center, Al Horford.

Splitter left Saturday's game against the Knicks with right lower leg muscle soreness and is questionable to return, the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Chris Vivlamore reports.
EDGE Analysis
He played just four minutes before exiting, so it would be a pretty big blow to his owners in daily leagues if that is how his night concludes. Mike Muscala would see the backup minutes at center if Splitter has to miss future games.

Splitter (hip) is active for Saturday's game against the Spurs, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mike Scott has been ruled out with an injury, so Splitter should assume Scott's minutes as a backup big man. He may continue to occasionally be held out of games to rest, especially on back-to-backs, but Splitter is fully available Saturday.

Splitter (hip) is listed as probable for Saturday's game against San Antonio, Chris Vivlamore of the AJC reports.
EDGE Analysis
Splitter was rested for the second installment of a back-to-back set on Thursday as the coach staff opted to ease him back into action after his seven-game absence due to hip soreness. The extra time off will likely be enough for Splitter to be available off the bench for Saturday's contest against the Spurs, however.

Splitter (hip) will not play Thursday against the Thunder, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Splitter returned from a seven-game absence Wednesday night and played 12 minutes off the bench. With the Hawks on the second night of a back-to-back, Splitter will be held out as the team attempts to limit the strain on his hip. Expect to see more of Mike Muscala off the bench, as a result.

Splitter (hip) saw 12 minutes off the bench during his return to the court in Wednesday's 98-95 win over the Mavericks. He accrued four points (2-3 FG), three boards, two assists, and a steal.
EDGE Analysis
Splitter's return from a seven-game absence led to diminished roles for bench bigs Mike Muscala (11 minutes) and Mike Scott, who didn't see the floor. It's expected that Splitter will eventually see his minutes settle back into the 15-to-20 range, which should offer some semblance of relief to the starting frontcourt of Paul Millsap and Al Horford.
