Castle closed with 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two steals over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 128-116 loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Castle has now scored 20 or more points in four of his last 10 outings. While the rookie guard has shown off his ability to get to the rim and make a strong defensive impact, he is converting just 26.1 percent of his 3.8 three-point attempts per contest this season.

Castle amassed 17 points (7-20 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday's 136-98 loss to the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
While he struggled with efficiency Saturday, Castle delivered a bounce-back performance after scoring nine points and shooting 3-for-9 from the floor during Thursday's win over the Pacers. The rookie also finished as the club's third-leading scorer behind Harrison Barnes (25 points) and Victor Wembanyama (20 points). Castle stuffed the stat sheet with a career-high six rebounds to go along with six assists, and he logged his first matchup with more than 15 points, five rebounds and five assists through 42 regular-season games.

Castle finished Friday's 140-112 loss to the Grizzlies with 20 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 25 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Victor Wembanyama stole the show with his impressive stat line in this blowout loss, but Castle was one of the few silver linings outside of the Frenchman, as he posted another impressive line. The rookie out of UConn has scored at least 20 points in three games in a row, which is his longest streak of the season, and he's recorded double-digit points in five of his seven January appearances so far.

Castle supplied 26 points (9-21 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds and four assists over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 129-115 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Castle has found his groove as a starter, scoring 23 points or more in the last two games. The 20-year-old has been filling in for Jeremy Sochan (back) and starting the three games for the Spurs. He's averaging 14.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game and shooting 40.7 percent from the floor as a starter for San Antonio.

Castle racked up 23 points (10-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two steals across 36 minutes during Monday's 126-102 win over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
With Jeremy Sochan (back) sidelined, Castle remained in a starting role despite his five-point dud against the Bucks on Jan. 8, and he responded by tying the best scoring output of his career while establishing a new career-high in field goals made. Castle has been switching between the starting lineup and the bench, but the rookie out of UConn has been excellent when deployed in the first unit. Through 20 starts, Castle is averaging 14.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game.

Castle will step into the starting five in place of Jeremy Sochan (back), marking the rookie guard's 19th start of the campaign. In his other 18 starts, Castle averaged 14.3 points, 4.4 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 30.2 minutes.

Castle is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Castle will head back to the bench following the return of Jeremy Sochan to the first unit. The rookie out of UConn is averaging 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 0.6 steals per game when coming off the bench this season (15 outings).

Castle is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Nuggets, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Castle chipped in 15 points (5-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 23 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 122-86 victory over the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie guard has struggled to adjust to being back on the second unit, but Castle produced a solid all-round effort Tuesday. It was just the second time in the last eight games he's even scored in double digits, and Castle's averaging a tepid 7.6 points, 2.9 assists and 2.3 boards in 18.0 minutes a contest during that span, coming off the bench each time. Castle started the second half in place of Jeremy Sochan (back) and would likely stick in the starting lineup if Sochan misses additional time.

Castle produced 17 points (7-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 13 minutes during Monday's 111-106 loss to the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a tiny workload, Castle made the most of his limited minutes. However, he picked up four quick fouls, ruining what could've been a much bigger performance. His counting stats have been solid in December, but he's shooting just 37.3 percent from the field and 22.2 percent from beyond the arc over his last nine games.
