Stephen Jackson needs an MRI after his ankle was stepped on during Wednesday's game, and he will not travel for Thursday's game in Oklahoma City. Jackson had a brace on his ankle after the game and he could be looking at a few missed games, which would shift more minutes to Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard (knee) and maybe Gary Neal. We should have his MRI results on Thursday.

Stephen Jackson faceplanted with two points in 19 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Magic. Jackson was a popular spot-start with Kawhi Leonard (knee) resting, but he started off ice cold and couldn't shoot his way out of it. Captain Jack ended up 1-of-9 from the field, giving way to a red-hot Gary Neal for much of the second half. With Leonard expected back Thursday, streamers can move on.

Stephen Jackson got his fifth start of the season on Monday, scoring 12 points with seven boards, three assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers. It was a nice game for Jackson and he did an admirable job filling in for Kawhi Leonard (knee). If Leonard gets more rest for his bum knee, Captain Jack will be worth a look in some deeper formats.

Gregg Popovich confirmed that Stephen Jackson's ankle "felt better" on Sunday. "He's improving," he said. "He needs that. It's hard to play when your ankle's not right." Jackson played 26 minutes on Sunday, so he should be good to go moving forward.

Stephen Jackson (ankle) returned to action vs. the Pistons on Sunday with six points, eight rebounds, six assists and three turnovers in 26 minutes. Jax was doubtful to play but he laced them up for his short-handed squad, and he's worth a look in deep leagues (with the caveat that the Spurs only play twice this week). This game distills the Spurs' kitchen-sink approach with Tony Parker out approximately four weeks -- nobody played more than 27 minutes, and 14 different Spurs were in the scoring column.

Stephen Jackson (ankle) will return to the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pistons. He suffered the sprain on Wednesday and missed Friday's game, but it sounds like he should be ready to go. Jackson may be charged with more responsibility with the ball since Tony Parker is out, but he's not worth owning in standard leagues.

Stephen Jackson (ankle) will not play on Friday. He was listed as doubtful coming in and wasn't expected to play, so this isn't a surprise. Kawhi Leonard and Danny Gren will see a slight increase in minutes on the wing.

Stephen Jackson had a "routine" MRI performed on his ankle and is doubtful to play on Friday. Jackson sprained his ankle on Wednesday, and it's the same ankle he had issues with earlier in the season. The results of Jackson's MRI are pending, but we seriously doubt he'll play on Friday. Without him, Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green will be asked to do more on the wing.

Stephen Jackson sprained his right ankle in Wednesday's game against the Suns and he will not return. This is the same famous right ankle that was sprained while New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg was being served a beverage. Jackson played just 17.7 minutes per game in February and guys like Kawhi Leonard, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green may pick up a few extra minutes.

Stephen Jackson played 20 minutes in his return from personal issues on Thursday, scoring five points to go with three rebounds, two assists and three steals vs. the Clippers. He got a little more burn that usual with Kawhi Leonard (knee) resting, but he still couldn't muster up anything for the majority of fantasy leagues. Captain Jack can be left on the wire in almost every league.
