Larkin (shoulder) was ruled out Wednesday for the Celtics' Game 5 tilt with the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin was diagnosed with a left shoulder sprain after departing early in Game 4 and will need at least a couple days to get over the issue. With Kyrie Irving (knee) shut down for the season, the Celtics can ill afford more personnel losses at point guard, especially with head coach Brad Stevens preferring to use the bruising Marcus Smart in more of an off-the-ball role. With Larkin unavailable, Smart will now likely serve as the top backup point guard Wednesday behind starter Terry Rozier, who could even see slightly more playing time despite averaging 39.0 minutes through the first four games of the series.

Larkin (shoulder) didn't return to Monday's Game 4 and is set to have additional tests performed Tuesday, Jay King of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin was forced from Monday's contest after just two minutes and despite being questionable to return, he never came back to the bench. He'll now go in for additional tests Tuesday, which should give us a better indication on whether or not Larkin will be ready for Game 5 on Wednesday. Tentatively consider him questionable and another update should be provided in the next 24 hours or so.

Larkin left Monday's Game 4 in the first quarter with a left shoulder injury and is questionable to return, Chris Forsberg of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The fact that Larkin hasn't been ruled out for the rest of the contest entirely is somewhat encouraging that the injury isn't overly serious. That said, it's still a toss-up for whether or not Larkin ultimately gets back in the game, so keep an eye out for another update in the near future. Larkin played just two minutes before heading to the locker room.

Larkin tallied 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds and seven assists across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 110-97 win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin got the start with Terry Rozier resting, coming through with an excellent showing in the boards and missing out on a triple-double by just three assists. Rozier should command all the minutes he can handle during the postseason, limiting Larkin to sporadic usage off the bench.

Larkin will draw the start at point guard for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Nets, Celtics play-by-play analyst Sean Grande reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Terry Rozier out for rest, Larkin is the next man up at point guard and should see significant run. In his one previous start this season, he posted nine points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals in 16.1 minutes.

Larkin (illness) will be available for Friday's game against the Bulls, Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
An illness kept Larkin out of the previous three games, but he'll be back in action Friday for the shorthanded Celtics, who will still be without a number of regulars. In addition to injuries to Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart, and Gordon Hayward, Boston will rest Al Horford and Jayson Tatum.

Larkin (illness) is listed as out for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin is expected to miss a third straight game with an illness that hospitalized him over the weekend. While he's since been released, the Celtics are going to ease him back and as a result, will hold the young guard out once again against the Raptors. Terry Rozier (ankle) is listed as questionable, while Kyrie Irving (knee) and Marcus Smart (thumb) remain out, so the Celtics could be very shorthanded in the backcourt once again.

Larkin (illness) will not play Tuesday against Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
There was some hope that Larkin would be able to meet the team in Milwaukee, but that won't be the case after he spent a couple of days in the hospital over the weekend. Coach Brad Stevens noted that Larkin is feeling better Tuesday, and there's a chance he could meet the Celtics in Toronto for Wednesday night's game.

The Celtics are now listing Larkin (illness) as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
After Larkin was hospitalized over the weekend due to flu-like symptoms, the Celtics announced he wouldn't travel with the team for its back-to-back road contests in Milwaukee and Toronto on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. However, the questionable designation implies that Larkin's condition may have taken a turn for the better in the past 24 hours, though it remains uncertain if he'll be a realistic option off the bench Tuesday. Should Larkin remain unavailable for a second straight contest, 10-day signee Xavier Silas would likely act as the top backup to starting point guard Terry Rozier (ankle) in a banged-up Boston backcourt.

Larkin (illness) was discharged from the hospital on Monday, Jay King of MassLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin was scratched from Saturday's game against the Raptors with flu-like symptoms, and he spent the better part of the last two days in a local hospital. While his release is certainly an encouraging sign, Larkin should still be considered very much questionable for Tuesday's matchup with Milwaukee.
