Samardo Samuels will play for Olimpia Milano next season. He had a solid showing in summer league, averaging 11.2 points, 6.8 boards and 0.4 blocks on 61.3 percent shooting with the Clippers. He played his last game with the Cavs in December and might have a tough time returning to the NBA.

It's possible that an NBA team will give him a minimum contract to fill out their frontcourt, but at least we know Samuels has options. He appeared in just 18 contests for Cleveland last year, averaging 3.2 points in 11 minutes per game.

Samuels signed a two-month contract to play in Israel back in April after the Cavs waived him in January, and he could never stay out of Byron Scott's dog house long enough to get a stable spot in Cleveland's rotation. Samuels led the D-League in double-doubles this season, earning him a quick payday abroad. The 24-year-old PF could latch onto an NBA roster next season, but he's not likely to surface with fantasy relevance.

Samardo Samuels, among with several other free agents, are under consideration to be signed by the Grizzlies. Other names that have been thrown into the mix: Delonte West, Bill Walker, Sasha Vujacic, Eddie House, Micah Downs and Joe Ingles. The Grizzlies will sort through all of the possibilities before deciding on who will come aboard.

The Nets and Thunder "may have interest in" Samardo Samuels, sources tell Fox Sports Ohio. Samuels was waived by the Cavs Sunday. Wherever the big man lands, he's not going to amass any fantasy value after he couldn't even crack the rotation in Cleveland.
