Hibbert's 46.5 percent shooting is somewhat disappointing for a guy who gets 62.3 percent of his shot attempts within eight feet of the hoop, but in the Pacers' previous three games he was a combined 21-of-36 from the field (58.3 percent). He should bounce back from this dud quickly during the Pacers' upcoming four-game week, featuring matchups with the Warriors, Bobcats, Rockets and Mavericks.

The root cause is a decline in FG attempts, and particularly FT attempts, so hopefully the Pacers will game-plan to keep their All-Star center more involved over the final months of the regular season.

After averaging 23 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks over two straight games, Hibbert has fizzled over his last two, averaging just 8.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and zero blocks over his last two. He's a better player in reality than fantasy, but still has a chance to become more consistent offensively over the rest of the season.

He shot 4-of-6 from the field and just didn't get many opportunities in the easy win. Hibbert scored 23.0 points per game in his previous two games, but his scoring output wasn't going to be that high, obviously. His scoring average dropped 2.1 points from December to January and he'll look to turn it around in the second half of the season.

He is coming off a 26-point game on Thursday and is coming out of a prolonged slump. Hibbert couldn't get his hook shot to fall when he was struggling and now he's getting some very easy, close looks. The buy-low window is starting to close.

"I think they have a good crop of guys and I wish them the best of luck." Team USA released its 28-man initial roster last week and it did not have Hibbert on it. He spent a lot of time training in the offseason and changed his diet and it has led to him make some strides this season.

Roy Hibbert busted out of a slump on Thursday vs. the Suns, scoring 26 points with six boards and two blocks in 38 minutes. It's his first game over 14 points since Jan. 7, but offense isn't his forte.The Pacers are number one in defense in the NBA and Hibbert has been a big reason why. His opponent's field goal shooting at the rim is just 41.3 percent, which leads all big men with at least 26 minutes per game and 18 games played. His numbers have been trending down, but he certainly deserves an All-Star nod.
