Ronny Turiaf is out of the country due to problems with his U.S. work visa, and he's not expected to rejoin the Wizards for a few days. Turiaf has been out since Jan. 1 with a broken left hand. He recently visited a hand specialist in New York, and fantasy owners should simply ignore him until he's back on the court.

Ronny Turiaf (hand) did not practice on Thursday. Turiaf is working to return from a broken hand and has been out since January 1. He's getting closer to a return but he's still not quite there yet.

He's been doing on-court conditioning with the team. Once ready, Turiaf will assume a backup role behind JaVale McGee, Trevor Booker, Jan Vesely and Andray Blatch (calf, day-to-day).

Ronny Turiaf (broken hand) underwent surgery on Wednesday. As expected, Turiaf is slated to miss six weeks while he recovers. The oft-injured big man was averaging 1.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 15 minutes per game before his latest setback.

Ronny Turiaf is expected to miss five to six weeks due to a broken left hand. He'll see a hand specialist soon and this should mean even more run for starters JaVale McGee and Andray Blatche. Additionally, reserves Kevin Seraphin, Trevor Booker and Hamady N'diaye will all see some extra minutes. However, that doesn't mean any of them are worth a pick up at this time.

Ronny Turiaf left Sunday's game after hurting his left hand in the third quarter. We'll pass along more information once it's available, but nobody should be relying upon Turiaf for fantasy value in the first place.

Ronny Turiaf played five minutes in his Wizards debut on Friday. This was an ugly game for the Wizards, but at least we know Turiaf's injured hand is healthy enough for him to play. We're taking him off the injury report, but that doesn't mean he'll have fantasy value.

The Wizards have acquired F/C Ronny Turiaf from the Knicks. The Wiz will also get a 2013 second-round pick and cash from the Knicks, as well as a 2012 second-round pick from Dallas. Turiaf will help back up both Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee in Washington, but shouldn't have fantasy value. The Knicks moved him in order to clear space to acquire Tyson Chandler.
