Neto was sent down to the D-League's Salt Lake City Stars on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
With the Jazz fully healthy as of Wednesday, they'll look to get Neto some valuable playing time in the Stars' Wednesday matchup against the Grand Rapids Drive.

Neto was recalled Monday from the D-League's Salt Lake City Stars.
EDGE Analysis
Neto, as well as Alec Burks and Dante Exum, all joined the Stars earlier Monday for some extra practice reps, but will rejoin the Jazz ahead of Tuesday's tilt with the Cavaliers. With George Hill (concussion) back in the lineup, Neto finds himself even further out of the rotation, so he'll have a tough time seeing the floor in competitive games.

Neto was assigned Monday to the D-League's Salt Lake City Stars.
EDGE Analysis
Neto didn't see the floor in each of the Jazz's last three games and appears to have fallen out of the rotation completely with George Hill (concussion) now back at full strength. He'll get some added practice reps with the Stars, but should be recalled in time for the big club's tilt with the Cavaliers on Tuesday.

Neto (coach's decision) didn't see the court in Monday's 112-103 win over the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
Even though starting point guard George Hill missed eight games with a sprained thumb earlier this month, Neto didn't see much of a boost in playing time, playing a combined eight minutes during that stretch. Now that he's plummeted back to fourth on the depth chart at the position following Hill's return last week, Neto will struggle to see the floor outside of blowout contests.

Neto played only two minutes in Monday's 109-84 win over the 76ers, missing his only field-goal attempt and recording an assist.
EDGE Analysis
After working in a starting role for most of last season, Neto has opened the 2016-17 campaign fourth on the depth chart at point guard, which has unsurprisingly kept him out of coach Quin Snyder's rotation. He saw some run Monday with the Jazz down to three healthy point guards thanks to George Hill's (thumb) absence, but this minimal amount of playing time may be as good as it gets most nights for Neto.

Neto managed just two points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt) over nine minutes in Monday's 96-94 preseason win over the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old has received limited minutes to start the preseason, managing no more than 10 minutes in any of the three exhibition contests and tallying just a 33 percent success rate on his 12 shot attempts. Neto surprisingly notched 53 starts in his rookie campaign but was significantly inefficient, managing just 5.9 points, 2.1 assists and 1.5 rebounds per contest. He's now buried on the point guard depth chart behind newly-acquired starter George Hill, returning first-round pick Dante Exum and Shelvin Mack, considerably dimming his prospects for appreciable playing time in the coming season.

Neto had a surprisingly active rookie season with the Jazz, making appearances in 81 games, 53 of which were starts, while averaging 18.5 minutes per contest.
EDGE Analysis
Neto essentially backed his way into a larger role with significant absences from Dante Exum (knee) and Alec Burks (knee), and Trey Burke's inability to stay in good graces with coach Quin Snyder certainly helped as well. Although, Neto's own deficiencies were made clear when the Jazz acquired Shelvin Mack midseason via trade, thus demoting Neto to the bench where he only averaged 14.5 minutes over the final 28 games of the season. With Exum, Burks, Burke, and Mack all in line to return for 2016-17, it's entirely possible for Neto to see far less playing time during his second year in the NBA.

Neto pitched in with 13 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), an assist and a steal over 26 minutes in Thursday's 103-69 victory over the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old Brazilian turned in his most productive effort since having his starting role usurped by trade-deadline acquisition Shelvin Mack, and compiled double-digit points for the second time in the last four contests. It also marked the fourth straight game for Neto with 50 percent or better shooting, and his second consecutive contest with a success rate north of 70 percent from the field. Although he's receiving minutes in the teens on most nights, the rookie has moved ahead of fellow guard Trey Burke in the rotation behind Mack.

Neto had 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 23 minutes during the Jazz's 104-94 loss to the Raptors on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Over the last five games since Shelvin Mack arrived via trade and stole Neto's spot in the starting lineup, Neto is averaging five points, 1.6 assists, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 15 minutes per appearance. These averages aren't that much below his marks for the entire season, but Neto was already best reserved for use in deeper leagues prior to his demotion.

EDGE Analysis
Neto is moving to the bench so that newly acquired guard Shelvin Mack can start. It's unclear for the time being who will start going forward. Look for Neto to still play a large role off the bench, though he'll likely see a slight minutes reduction.
