Neto will start Friday's game against the Timberwolves with Russell Westbrook resting, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neto did the same when Westbrook sat out against Orlando earlier in the week and finished with 22 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals in 32 minutes. He returned to the bench for the Wizards' last two games and is coming off of a 15-point, four-rebound, three-steal effort in 22 minutes Thursday night against Chicago.

Neto tallied 15 points (5-7 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three steals and one assist across 22 minutes off the bench Thursday in the Wizards' 133-130 loss to the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
The 0-5 Wizards have been one of the league's early disappointments, but Neto's performance through the first five games has been a silver lining. Neto has shot efficiently (55.6 percent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range) while filling out the stat sheet nicely (10.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game) in his 17.6 minutes per contest. With Russell Westbrook expected to rest Friday in Minnesota for the second leg of the back-to-back set, Neto should slot into the starting backcourt alongside Bradley Beal. He'll make for a nice streamer in season-long leagues with daily lineup changes, as well as an intriguing value play in DFS contests.

Neto is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Bulls, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old put up 22 points (10-17 FG, 2-8 3PT), five assists, four rebounds and three steals while starting in place of Russell Westbrook (rest) Sunday, but Westbrook is back in action Tuesday. Neto averaged 6.5 points in 9.5 minutes off the bench in the first two games of the season and should return to that role.

Neto had 22 points (10-17 FG, 2-8 3PT), five assists, four rebounds and three steals in Sunday's loss to the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Starting in place of Russell Westbrook (rest), Neto took advantage of the opportunity, putting up an impressive all-around line in his 32 minutes. Neto played just 19 total minutes off the bench in the Wizards' first two games, however, so he's not much of a fantasy contributor when Westbrook is active.

Neto will get the start Sunday against the Magic with Russell Westbrook resting, Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's the second night of a back-to-back for Washington, so Westbrook will take a seat, while Neto slides into the lineup at point guard. Neto played only nine minutes off the bench Saturday night, but he drilled three three-pointers and finished with 11 points.

Neto is expected to start at point guard in Sunday's game against the Magic, Chris Miller of NBC Sports Washington reports.
EDGE Analysis
Washington is holding Russell Westbrook out for rest purposes in the second half of a back-to-back set, allowing Neto to pick up his first start of 2020-21. While the starting assignment likely means that Neto will pick up the majority of the playing time at point guard, Ish Smith will presumably have a more pronounced role on the second unit than Neto typically does when Westbrook is playing. That said, the prospect of a sizable increase in playing time -- Neto hasn't played more than 10 minutes in either of Washington's first two games -- gives the 28-year-old some appeal as a punt play in DFS.

Neto is starting Sunday's preseason game against the Nets, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Russell Westbrook (rest) and Ish Smith (lower body) are sitting out the preseason opener, so Neto will receive the starting nod. Neto averaged 5.1 points, 1.8 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 12.4 minutes for the Sixers last season, and he should operate as the Wizards' No. 3 point guard for the 2020-21 campaign.

Neto is expected to sign with the Wizards on a one-year deal, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neto spent his first four seasons in Utah before playing last year in Philadelphia. He averaged 5.1 points, 1.8 assists and 0.6 triples across 12.4 minutes in 54 games with the 76ers. He will now look to earn a role providing depth in the Wizards' backcourt.

Neto notched 22 points (9-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, and two rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's loss against the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
The Sixers started Shake Milton at point guard, so Neto had to come off the bench, but the 28-year-old finished as Philly's second-highest scorer in this game. Neto was coming off three straight DNP designations, however, so he is not expected to play a major role once the Sixers are closer to full strength come playoff time. That said, he could see minutes off the bench in the team's final two regular-season games against the Raptors (Aug. 12) and the Rockets (Aug. 14).

Neto (back) will be available for Saturday's restart opener against the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Neto has worked through back soreness and will be able to play, if needed, in the opener. Over his past 10 appearances, he's averaging 6.0 points, 1.8 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 14.7 minutes, but it's not a guarantee that he'll see the floor.
