Pondexter dropped 20 points (7-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with nine rebounds, six assists and two steals in 37 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Warriors. With Tyreke Evans (knee) going down, Pondexter saw extra run and extra shots Saturday and will need to continue that sort of form if Evans' MRI results are not encouraging. Throughout the regular season, Pondexter averaged 1.2 three-pointers in just 24 minutes off action, numbers which will have to increase in New Orleans has a chance of an upset.

Pondexter scored 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt) with five rebounds and two steals in the win over the Kings on Friday. The Kings left Pondexter open on the wing repeatedly in the second half and the former Washington Husky burned them. He has scored in double digits in his last four games and made 12 3-pointers.

Pondexter posted 15 points, three rebounds, and two assists in 27 minutes of action Friday against the Warriors. Pondexter is quietly averaging 12.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.8 three-pointers made over the last five games. He's worth owning in 16-man leagues at this point.

Pondexter scored 17 points (6-9, 5-6 3Pt) in Tuesday's win over the Nets. Pondexter should continue to hold increased value so long as Ryan Anderson (knee) remains out of the lineup. He's played at least 27 minutes in every game since Feb. 20 and is usually a solid source of three-pointers at a low daily price.

Pondexter started his eighth game of the season Friday in a loss to the Celtics, and was held to single-digit points for his fourth straight game, despite playing in at least 28 minutes in all four. He finished Friday's game with six points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four assists and two rebounds. Pondexter was just recently inserted into the starting lineup. He's been seeing a lot of minutes as of late, but just isn't turning that into fantasy production. In his past four games, he's averaging just six points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 31 minutes per game.

Pondexter was moved into the starting lineup during Wednesday's win over the Nets, and finished with 25 points (9-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and two assists in 40 minutes. In just his fifth start of the season, Pondexter took advantage of the extra time and posted a new season-high in points. He's averaging just 21.2 minutes per game, so the 40 minutes he received Wednesday really helped his production. With Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson both out for at least another week or two, Pondexter will likely continue to get some run with the starters and his fantasy value will be as high as it's been all season. He should offer decent value as long as he's in the starting lineup.

Pondexter scored 14 points (4-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), backed up by five rebounds, and three assists in 29 minutes on Sunday. This was Pondexter's best game since coming to New Orleans. He's played plenty of minutes since joining the team and they seem to like what he contributes. Those in deeper leagues can look at Pondexter as an upside pick, but those in shallower formats can most likely find better value.

Pondexter scored five points (2-8 FG, 1-1 FT), grabbed two rebounds, and added one assist and one steal in 26 minutes off the bench against the 76ers Friday. Pondexter's game is not one that translates well into fantasy value. In his second game with the Pelicans, he again played big minutes, but the box score shows little. Pondexter is a classic example of a "better in real life than in fantasy" player. He has very little fantasy value in most formats.

Pondexter made his debut for the Pelicans on Wednesday as he came off the bench for 32 minutes and contributed nine points (3-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), six rebounds, and three assists. Pondexter's 32 minutes were actually a season high, although his actual production was pretty typical of his other performances this season. Even in extended minutes with his new team, Pondexter is still a limited option who only bodes well in the very deepest of leagues.

Pondexter is expected to debut with the Pelicans on Wednesday in Detroit, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Pondexter, who spent his rookie season with the then-New Orleans Hornets, was acquired from Memphis over the weekend. He's averaging a modest 4.5 points per game in 18.0 minutes this season, but his biggest contributions will come on the defensive end, according to coach Monty Williams. "Quincy is a guy who can guard three positions and has shown the ability to knock down shots," Williams said. "He plays hard. He brings great intensity. Being able to put him on different scorers is first and foremost. Offensively, he'll pick up our stuff as we go along. But his defense and energy is going to help us right away." It remains to be seen how Williams will use Pondexter, but the versatile wing should see most of his time at small forward backing up Dante Cunningham. While he's a nice addition for a Pelicans team scrapping to stay in the playoff hunt out West, the deal isn't likely to have a significant impact on his fantasy value.
