Watson (knee) is available for Friday's game versus Portland.
EDGE Analysis
Watson was carrying a probable tag due to a contusion prior to this update. He started in Wednesday's loss to the Thunder and put up nine points (3-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 21 minutes, but he'll return to the second unit with Nikola Jokic returning from a one-game absence.

Watson is listed as probable for Friday's game versus the Trail Blazers due to a left knee contusion.
EDGE Analysis
Watson assumedly bruised his knee in Wednesday's loss to the Thunder but isn't expected to miss Friday's contest. If Nikola Jokic (back) is ruled out yet again, Watson could remain in Denver's starting lineup.

Watson totaled nine points (3-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 105-100 loss to the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Watson got the starting nod after Nikola Jokic was ruled out due to a back concern. Despite the promotion, Watson saw just 21 minutes of playing time, basically mirroring what he has been playing for the past three weeks. While he is unlikely to make too much noise when it comes to fantasy this season, he is a name to watch should he ever carve out a consistent role for himself.

Watson will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Watson is getting the spot start with Nikola Jokic (back) taking the night off, and he'll be joined in the first unit by Jamal Murray, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon. Watson can put up decent stats when given the minutes, so he could be worth a dice roll Wednesday night.

Watson ended with seven points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 19 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 114-109 victory over the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Watson recorded multiple rejections for a third straight game. The 30th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft doesn't have a large enough role in the Nuggets' frontcourt rotation to be a fantasy asset in most formats, but over 11 games in January, the 21-year-old forward is averaging 7.3 points, 2.9 boards, 1.1 threes and 0.9 blocks in only 16.7 minutes a night. Should more minutes open up due to injuries, Watson could become an intriguing sleeper.

Watson (illness) is available for Sunday's game against the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Watson has been upgraded from probable to available. In January (six games), the second-year forward has averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals-plus-blocks in 17.7 minutes per game.

Watson has been tabbed as probable to face the Pacers on Sunday due to an illness.
EDGE Analysis
Watson has been a steady presence off the bench for the Nuggets this season, missing just two games and regularly averaging between 15 to 20 minutes per game. His potential absence could open minutes for Zeke Nnaji.

Watson ended with 15 points (4-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 23 minutes during Sunday's 131-114 victory over the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Watson delivered a strong game off the bench and was able to leave his mark on both ends of the court as the Nuggets cruised their way against a reeling Pistons team. Despite holding a bench role and occasionally starting, Watson has found ways to contribute, and his offensive game is trending in the right direction. He has scored in double digits in four of his last six outings.

Watson isn't starting Monday's game against the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
Watson drew a pair of spot starts while Aaron Gordon (face) recovered from injury, but the UCLA product will return to his usual bench role Monday with Gordon back in action. Watson is averaging 7.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists in his last five contests off the bench.

Watson totaled 14 points (6-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 32 minutes during Friday's 119-93 loss to the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Watson started for the second game in a row, and while he couldn't repeat the 20-point outing he delivered against the Grizzlies on Thursday, he posted another solid outing while handling a bigger workload on offense. Watson is expected to remain in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future with Aaron Gordon sidelined indefinitely due to injuries from a dog bite.
