Beverley (wrist) is closing in on a return to game action, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley has already been ruled out for Thursday's matchup with Detroit, but it's positive to see that he's inching closer to a return following a right wrist sprain. His availability for Saturday's game against Memphis will likely hinge on how he performs in practice Friday.

Beverley (wrist) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Pistons, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Clippers were bracing for Beverley to miss multiple contests after he was diagnosed with a sprained right wrist earlier this week, so it comes as little surprise that he'll be sidelined for a second straight game Thursday. Landry Shamet drew the start at point guard in Tuesday's win over the Kings, but he'll likely move to the bench or see reduced time running the offense with Lou Williams (personal) expected to be available following a one-game absence.

EDGE Analysis
Beverley has already been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup with the Kings, and it appears he'll remain sidelined for at least a few more games as a result of a right wrist injury. Expect the point guard to remain out for Thursday's contest with the Pistons and possibly longer.

Beverley (wrist) won't play Tuesday against Sacramento, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley suffered the injury during Saturday's matchup with the Jazz, and it'll cost him at least one contest. His X-rays came back negative, but it remains to be seen when the veteran guard will be cleared to return to the court. Derrick Walton Jr. and Lou Williams will likely pick up the slack at point guard in Beverley's absence.

Coach Doc Rivers said after Saturday's 120-107 loss to the Jazz that he remains concerned about Beverley's status after the guard injured his right wrist in the contest, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley removed himself at one point early in the third quarter after falling hard on his right arm while attempting to convert a driving layup over Jazz center Rudy Gobert. The point guard was sent to the locker room for X-rays -- which returned negative -- before he checked back into the contest in the fourth quarter, but only played a few minutes before checking out for good and finishing with 12 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and one block. The Clippers are off until Tuesday, when they'll play in Sacramento.

Beverley (wrist) had 12 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and one block over 23 minutes in Saturday's 120-107 loss to Utah.
EDGE Analysis
Despite suffering an apparent wrist injury during Saturday's contest, Beverley was able to return to the game and put together an impressive performance. Although he returned Saturday, his status going forward will be something to monitor as he has dealt with various injuries this season. If the 31-year-old is forced to miss any extra time, Lou Williams and Landry Shamet could see increased usage.

Beverley was in noticeable pain after taking a hard fall during Saturday's contest against the Jazz. Should he not return to the contest, look for Lou Williams and Landry Shamet to see an uptick in minutes.

Beverley had eight points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3PT, 1-3 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 111-106 win at the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Beverley came just two points and one rebound shy of a double-double, but he played a big role on the team's late comeback due to his gritty defense, highlighted by the fact he forced LeBron James to commit a turnover with less than four seconds on the block and when the star forward was ready to shoot what could have been a game-tying three-pointer. That said, Beverley is not much of a fantasy asset since he never stands out in any particular category, and should be a streaming alternative -- at best -- in most formats.
