Saikam started at power forward Wednesday but only played 11 minutes during the 94-89 loss to the 76ers. He scored two points (1-2 FG) and added one rebound and one block.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the elevation to the starting lineup, Saikam's role did not increase. As long as there are so many other talented Raptors big men around him, it is hard to imagine Saikam gaining fantasy value in any but the very deepest leagues.

Siakam will start at power forward for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Siakam has logged just limited minutes so far in the month of January, but with Lucas Nogueira (concussion) and Patrick Patterson (knee) out, he'll have the opportunity to work with the starting five. Jared Sullinger (foot) will be making his season debut, but is going to be limited off the bench, so Siakam should still see the bulk of the minutes at power forward Wednesday. That said, Siakam has largely struggled to post fantasy worthy production even when provided big minutes, so it's likely a situation to avoid for the time being.

Siakam (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in a 114-106 win over the Celtics on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
After being demoted to the bench for the first time all season Jan. 5, Siakam has effectively fallen out of coach Dwane Casey's rotation, logging a total of four minutes over the team's last four games. Now that Patrick Patterson is healthy following a bout with a knee injury and Jared Sullinger (foot) could resume practicing next week, the Raptors aren't likely to bring Siakam back into the mix anytime soon. Don't be surprised if he's assigned to the D-League's Raptors 905 in the coming weeks.

Siakam will come off the bench for Thursday's matchup with the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Siakam has held down a starting role for the majority of his rookie season, but has run into some recent struggles, combining to go just 4-for-13 from the field for nine points over his last three contests despite logging significant minutes. For that reason, the Raptors will experiment with Lucas Nogueira as their starting power forward, although it remains to be seen if this will be just a one-game experiment. SIakam held very little fantasy value even when he was a starter.

Siakam started and managed two points (1-4 FG), two rebounds and one block across 26 minutes during a 110-82 loss to the Spurs on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Siakam got the start with Patrick Patterson (knee) being sidelined, but barely did anything across 26 minutes as the team got decimated by San Antonio. He will get additional minutes and normally won't be this bad if Patterson is forced to miss more time, but don't expect him to contribute much of anything besides rebounds and blocks.

Siakam played just six minutes in a 95-91 win over the Trail Blazers on Monday, missing his only shot attempt and accruing no other statistics.
EDGE Analysis
Siakam continues to start at power forward for the Raptors, but he's essentially become a non-rotation option for coach Dwane Casey, as backup Patrick Patterson has run with the starters in the second half of the last two games while the rookie has played a combined 12 minutes in those contests. There doesn't appear to be much momentum for Casey to use Patterson at the start of games, but that role could end up going to Jared Sullinger (foot) once he's healthy enough to play. Sullinger's entry to the rotation would likely result in Siakam dropping to third on the depth chart at power forward.

Siakam collected six points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, and four blocks in 28 minutes during the Raptors' 109-79 victory versus the Magic on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After matching his career high with three blocks in a season-low eight minutes against the Hawks on Friday, Siakam established a new career-best in swats on Sunday while creeping up over 20 minutes for the first time since Dec. 3. The rookie had played at least 20 minutes in 11 of the first 20 games this season, but in the six games prior to this he was averaging just 13.7 minutes per contest.

Siakam posted 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, one block, and one steal in 23 minutes during the Raptors' 122-95 win over the 76ers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Siakam reached double digits in scoring for the third time in 17 games, contributing a career-high 11 points on just six shot attempts. The rookie has performed well as the team's starting power forward, and he has now eclipsed 20 minutes in six of the last seven contests after doing so on only three occasions through the first 10. With that being said, Siakam is unlikely to attain fantasy relevance outside of the very deepest leagues.

Siakam played 11 minutes in Friday's 113-111 win over the Hornets, scoring zero points (0-4 FG) and grabbing one rebound.
EDGE Analysis
Siakam continues to chug along as the Raptors' starting power forward, but he's seen both his numbers and minutes decline for the most part since the Oct. 26 season opener. The rookie has seen fewer than 20 minutes in six of the Raptors' last seven games, averaging only 4.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game during that span. With Patrick Patterson continuing to dominate the playing time at power forward while coming off the bench, Siakam won't much value in the fantasy realm.

Siakam scored four points (2-2 FG) with nine rebounds and a steal in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 109-91 win over the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
He split minutes almost equally at power forward with Patrick Patterson, and Siakam didn't look much like a rookie in his NBA debut, showing tremendous energy and athleticism. His offensive game is still extremely raw so his primary contributions will come on the glass for now, and there will almost certainly be growing pains down the road, but the Raptors may have gotten a bit of a steal with the 27th overall pick in this year's draft.
