Siakam scored nine of his 22 points in the fourth quarter in an unsuccessful effort to hold off the Cavaliers' late surge. It wasn't the most efficient performance out of the veteran forward, but he has scored at least 20 points in each of his last six outings and has posted at least two steals in four of those games. Over that six-game span, Siakam has averaged 26.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 threes and 1.5 steals over 34.3 minutes per game.

It was the seventh time that Siakam has scored 30-plus points in a game this season, and it was his highest scoring output since Dec. 5 against the Bulls (36 points). Over his last five outings, the veteran forward has averaged 27.8 points on 57.3 percent shooting (including 43.5 percent from three on 4.6 3PA/G), 6.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals over 34.2 minutes per game.

Siakam led the Pacers in both scoring and rebounds Friday, and was one board shy from recording his seventh double-double of the season. He is averaging 23.5 points per game this season, his highest since the 2022-23 campaign with the Raptors as the veteran forward has embraced a larger scoring role in the absence of Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles). Siakam has scored at least 23 points in each of his last four outings while connecting on 54.7 percent of his field-goal attempts over that span. He'll look to carry that momentum into Sunday's road tilt against the Magic.

Amid what's been a rough year for the Pacers so far, Siakam has been a mainstay in the lineup with dependable production. The star forward has played all but one of Indiana's first 34 contests, averaging 23.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 33.8 minutes per game.

Siakam bounced back admirably from the 11-point performance he posted in Friday's loss to the Celtics. This was Siakam's fifth game in which he cleared the 30-point mark this season, but it's only the second time he's done it since the beginning of December. Even though opposing defenses are planning to slow Siakam down, the star forward should continue to operate as the Pacers' go-to option on offense regardless of the opponent.

Siakam supplied 11 points (4-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals over 28 minutes during Friday's 140-122 loss to Boston.

EDGE Analysis

Siakam shot the ball poorly, delivering his second straight underwhelming performance. While it has been a relatively strong season for Siakam, Indiana's record is beginning to raise some questions when it comes to Siakam's rest-of-season outlook. The Pacers have lost seven straight games, having won just six games all season. Given the risk that can be associated with a losing record, moving off Siakam could be a wise move as soon as he strings together a couple of good performances.

Siakam totaled 15 points (6-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-8 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 111-94 loss to the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

After scoring 20-plus points in each of his last three appearances, Siakam tied his season low in shot attempts and finished with 15 or fewer points for just the fifth time in 29 regular-season games. However, the star forward was active on the glass, leading the Pacers in rebounds and matching the game-high mark. While Siakam wasn't overly aggressive on offense, he still put together an efficient performance after shooting 42.4 percent from the field in his previous four outings.
