Siakam will look to help the Raptors collect their first win of the season when they host the Knicks on Thursday.

Siakam posted 16 points (6-16 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 15 rebounds, eight assists, a steal and a block across 43 minutes in Saturday's loss against the Spurs.

Siakam ended the game as Toronto's third-highest scorer, but he paced the team in rebounds while being one of three players that registered eight or more dimes -- that speaks volumes of how well the Raptors moved the ball despite the loss. Siakam can be an effective two-way player and has started the season with two strong performances. He will try to keep this up Tuesday at Philadelphia.

Siakam scored 20 points (8-17 FG, 3-7 3PT, 1-2 FT) to go along with six rebounds and six assists across 39 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Pelicans.

Siakam led the way offensively for the Raptors, with the majority of his damage coming from the mid-range and deep. Particularly encouraging was Siakam's assist total, which would be a strong enhancement to his game after he notched 3.5 assists per game last season. The Raptors will take the floor next on Saturday against the Spurs.

Siakam scored 14 points (5-15 FG, 4-7 3PT) to go with nine rebounds, three assists and a steal during Friday's 117-105 preseason loss to Miami.

Siakam led Toronto with his nine boards, finishing just one shy of posting a double-double Friday. The big man wasn't great from the floor, but he made up for it by shooting 57 percent from three-point land to finish with the second most points on the team in the loss.

Siakam played well on Monday, leading Toronto in minutes during the tune up win over the Hornets. The forward is coming off a career year in the 2019-20 season and could be set to improve again as one of the focal points of the Raports' lineup in the new campaign. Siakam finished the game with the second-highest rebounds and assists totals for Toronto.

Siakam notched his second double-double of the series despite the defeat. In the seven games, he struggled to score as much as he had during the regular season, averaging 14.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

Siakam had 12 points (5-19 FG, 0-5 3PT, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and two steals in Wednesday's double-overtime Game 6 win over Boston.

EDGE Analysis

The Celtics have done well to stifle Siakam for most of the series, and that was the case again Wednesday. Siakam, who played a game-high 54 minutes, missed several key shots late in regulation and overtime, and had some untimely turnovers down the stretch. Nonetheless, the Raptors found a way to force a Game 7, so expect Siakam to play a key role Friday night.

Siakam had just 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3PT) and four rebounds in Monday's Game 5 loss to Boston.

Siakam played well in the Raptors' Game 4 victory, but he struggled in Game 5, posting his lowest point total since Nov. 29. For the most part, Boston has been able to contain Siakam, holding him to just 15.8 points per game for the series.

Siakam delivered 23 points (10-23 FG, 2-13 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds and two assists in 46 minutes during Saturday's Game 4 win over the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

Siakam has notched three double-doubles in the playoffs thus far and he has scored at least 15 points in each of Toronto's last three contests. Siakam should abandon the three-point experiment to boost his scoring figures -- he has made just 16.7 percent of his treys in four games against Boston -- but, all things considered, the star power forward seems to be rounding into form after a slow start to the series in Game 1, where he scored 13 points while shooting 5-for-16 from the field.
