Siakam carried the load for Toronto and helped the Raptors snap a six-game losing streak while ending the Knicks' eight-game winning streak. The production in the counting categories would have been satisfying enough for fantasy managers, but the fact that Siakam achieved his production on elite shooting from the field and the free-throw line was a bonus. He's now shooting 78.4 percent from the charity stripe on eight attempts per game on the season, making him more of a neutral contributor in that category after he shot 74.9 percent on 5.6 attempts per contest in 2021-22.

Siakam finished with 38 points (13-27 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 9-11 FT), 15 rebounds, six assists and one steal across 48 minutes during Monday's 104-101 overtime loss to the 76ers.

The 38 points and 15 boards were both season highs for Siakam, who was nearly single-handedly responsible for Toronto even getting to OT, as none of his teammates managed more than 13 points. The 28-year-old is averaging a robust 26.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.5 threes and 1.0 steals through 10 games in December.

Siakam chipped in 27 points (9-20 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds and six assists in 37 minutes during Sunday's 126-110 loss to the Warriors.

Siakam didn't have his best shooting performance, but he still delivered a strong stat line thanks to his contributions on the glass and as a playmaker. One of the most versatile big men in the NBA, Siakam has been outstanding since returning from a 10-game absence in late November. The scoring figures are not in line with what Siakam has been producing this season, but he seems to be trending in the wrong direction after putting three straight contests with less than 20 points. Siakam went on a tear and scored 20-plus points in six straight games between Nov. 30 and Dec. 9, but he's failed to reach that threshold in each of his last two games. That should be nothing more than a bump in the road for the star forward, however, who remains the best player for the Raptors this season. Given that the Raptors are pushing for a high playoff seed, Siakam should be locked in for what could be a career year.

Still, even if he didn't accomplish that feat, the star big man didn't miss a step despite being out for more than three weeks due to a groin injury.
