Williams-Goss totaled 12 points (5-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 21 minutes during Saturday's 133-81 preseason victory over the Adelaide 36ers.
EDGE Analysis
Williams-Goss started at point guard for the Jazz with both Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell were out for rest purposes giving Williams-Goss the lead role. He was solid enough during his time on the floor but managers shouldn't get too excited. He is going to struggle to be an every night part of the rotation and is not really going to have any fantasy value.

Williams-Goss signed a contract with the Jazz on Saturday, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams-Goss is a former second-round pick by the Jazz who never ultimately played for the team. He has spent the last two seasons in Europe where he has established himself as a player. The former Washington and Gonzaga product averaged 11.3 points, 4.6 assists, and 0.8 steals across 25.0 minutes per game last year for Olympiakos in the Greek Basketball League. He also provided 1.2 triples on 40 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

Williams-Goss signed a two-year contract with the Serbian club KK Partizan, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams-Goss was selected by the Jazz with the 55th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, but will instead start his professional career overseas in Serbia, rather than in Utah. That allows the Jazz to continue to hang on to his rights, all the while allowing Williams-Goss to get more experience and additional developmental opportunities in an expanded role. Williams-Goss struggled a bit during Summer League, averaging just 4.4 points (23.8 percent from the field) and 3.1 assists over 20.0 minutes, so it was quite clear he needed to work on his game before earning a spot on an NBA roster.
