Williams had a rough night from outside, but was still solid from the field as the Cavs allowed the Pistons to rally for the win in the fourth quarter. It was the second straight game that Williams played 29 minutes, which is a tad below what he's grown accustomed to in his second stint in Cleveland. Still, the 15 point night was much better than the four points Williams scored Saturday against the Bucks.

Williams was limited to four points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt) with five boards and four assists in 29 minutes in the double-overtime loss to Mllwaukee on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

Williams had gone 15-of-22 (68.1 percent) in his previous two games, but couldn't find his range in his return to the Bradley Center. Kyrie Irving (knee) does not seem to be close to returning, so Williams should return plenty of fantasy value while he starts.

Williams was unconscious shooting the ball in Tuesday's 118-114 win over the Jazz, finishing with 29 points (8-9 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 9-10 FT), six rebounds and six assists over 36 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

The Jazz were holding opponents to just 85 points per game, but got a rude awakening from the reigning Eastern Conference champions. Williams posted a season-high in points and has played significant minutes in four straight games. He's streaky, but when Williams catches fire, it's hard to put him out.

Williams scored 16 points (8-12 FG. 0-2 3Pt) and dealt out a season-high eight assists in 31 minutes in the win over Philadelphia on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Williams has been on a major roll from the field. He has averaged 19.7 points on 58.5 percent from the field in his last three games. While he could be a sell-high candidate, Williams' owners should probably hold onto him for the time being because he is providing a great deal of offensive support.

Williams posted 22 points (8-19 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go with six rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes of action Wednesday against the Knicks.

EDGE Analysis

Williams has been filling in extremely well for Kyrie Irving (knee), averaging 15.4 points, 4.4 assists, and 2.0 treys per game. He's got the green light to go on offense for the time being, so owners can continue to ride him until Irving returns.

Williams scored a season-high 21 points (8-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and added three assists over 28 minutes in Monday's 107-100 win against the Sixers.

Williams carried the Cavs' offense early on with LeBron James and Kevin Love struggling from the field. It was a nice rebound after shooting 2-for-10 from the field Friday against the Heat. Williams will continue to get big minutes so long as Kyrie Irving is on the mend.

Williams scored nine points (3-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt) and handed out five assists in 23 minutes the win over Memphis on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Williams exploded into the season with 19 points, but did not need to call his own number in the second game. While Kyrie Irving (knee) is out, Williams will continue to be a nice play for assists and 3-pointers.

Williams chipped in a nice little performance for the Cavs, finishing second on the team in points behind LeBron James (25). With Kyrie Irving sidelined, Williams played a team-high 37 minutes. The veteran PG likely won't put up this type of game often, especially once Irving is back, but for now, he gets a boost in value draining shots on LBJ's wing.

Williams amassed 13 points (6-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two assists, and seven rebounds over 25 minutes in Sunday's 87-81 loss to the Raptors.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran tallied his second-highest scoring night of the exhibition slate while posting his best shooting percentage from the field during that span. Williams is keeping the point guard seat warm for Kyrie Irving (knee), who remains without a firm timetable for a return to the court. With his ability to explode offensively on any given night, Williams figures to serve as a fine stand-in for Irving while the All-Star continues to recover.

Williams picked up the start at point guard in the Cavs' preseason opener Wednesday against the Hawks. He scored three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three assists, and one steal in 20 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

With Kyrie Irving likely to miss the first month of the season, if not longer, while he continues to recover from a fractured kneecap, Williams is positioned to fill an early-season starting role for the Cavs. Though Williams' production in Wednesday's game wasn't particularly noteworthy, the luxury of both setting up LeBron James and receiving open looks due to the attention the Cavs star receives should allow Williams to hang on to some decent fantasy value until Irving returns.
