Williams scored 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt), to go with six assists, seven rebounds, and a steal in 38 minutes on Sunday. The clock is ticking down for Wiliams, who will hold value until Ricky Rubio returns. After that point it's hardd to say what Minnesota will do, but thus far their intent seems to be around raising their younger players.

Williams followed up Tuesday's career-high 52 points with 26 points (10-22 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 1-2 FT) against the Suns on Friday. He also contributed two rebounds, five assists, and three steals in 39 minutes. Williams is currently on fire and deserving of a roster spot in virtually every depth of league after Friday's solid 26-point outing, not to even mention the other above-average counting stats. That being said, there's an expiration date on Williams since Ricky Rubio (ankle) could be returning sometime next week. In the meantime, Williams has proven to be deserving of a chance, even if just for a couple more games.

Williams scored a career-high 52 points (19-33 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 8-9 FT), the highest scoring performance of the season, in the win over the Pacers on Tuesday. He added seven assists in 44 minutes. Williams missed just one game with a sprained ankle, but had a career performance. His previous high this season was 25 points. With Ricky Rubio (ankle) nearing a return, Williams' fantasy upside remains somewhat limited. His fantasy owners are smiling for at least one game.

Williams resumed his place in the starting lineup after a one game absence due to a sprained ankle, playing 32 minutes and scoring 10 points (2-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT) with four rebounds, six assists, and one steal. Williams will continue to have low-end value until Ricky Rubio (ankle) returns, so you may still get three weeks of solid production. If you need assists, Williams is worth a look in most leagues, but be aware of the limited range of his value.

Williams (ankle) is available for Saturday night's game against the Spurs, Jerry Zgoda of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports. Williams will share point guard minutes with Zach LaVine, but he shouldn't receive many with Williams' age and that he is still likely recovering.

Williams (ankle) has been upgraded to probable for Saturday's game against the Spurs. Williams started Saturday listed as questionable, then was designated as doubtful, and has now worked his way up to probable, for the moment. If he plays Saturday, the veteran will continue to share time at point guard with rookie Zack LaVine.

Williams (ankle) has been downgraded to doubtful for Saturday's game against the Spurs. Williams is in line to miss his second straight game with right ankle soreness from an earlier sprain. Rookie Zach LaVine will almost certainly remain as the starting point guard while Williams will be targeting a potential comeback against the Pacers on Tuesday.

Williams (ankle) is listed as questionable to face the Spurs on Saturday. Williams missed Friday's game against the Bucks and appears to be in danger of missing his second straight Saturday. If he's ultimately unable to play against the Spurs, rookie Zach LaVine will almost certainly start at point guard and benefit from an extended role.

Williams (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game, T-Wolves' announcer Alan Horton reports. Zach LaVine will get the start at point guard with Robbie Hummel backing him up. Consider Williams questionable for Saturday's game against the Spurs.

Williams (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game in Milwaukee. Williams sprained his ankle toward the end of Wednesday's loss to the Suns, putting a damper on a 23-point, 11-assist performance. If Williams is unable to play Friday, Zach LaVine will likely see 30-plus minutes as the starting point guard, with Troy Daniels serving as the backup.
