Scott will start Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
The Wizards ruled out Markieff Morris (hip) out just before tip-off, and Scott will get the nod at power forward in his place. Expect Scott, as well as Kelly Oubre, to pick up increased minutes against a depleted Grizzlies team. Scott had eight points and five rebounds in Tuesday's loss to Brooklyn.

Scott supplied 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt) and five rebounds across 26 minutes during a 110-92 win over the Kings on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Scott put up a season-high 15 points and three three-pointers in the blowout win. He been a solid bench performer so far this season, and especially lately, as he has scored in double figures in five of his last nine outings. Scott won't provide owners much other than low-end points and a few three-pointers.

Scott scored 13 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, and two assists in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 117-115 loss to the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Scott struggled badly in Sunday's matchup with the Cavaliers, committing seven turnovers while scoring eight points. However, apart from that contest, he has been a decent source of scoring off the bench. The Wizards will need the reserves to help pick up the slack on offense while Markieff Morris (abdomen) remains sidelined, but Scott is still merely a dart throw in daily leagues.

Scott agreed Tuesday with the Wizards on a one-year contract for the veteran's minimum, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scott will provide the Wizards with some insurance at forward in the event that the team is unable to retain restricted free agent Otto Porter, who has generated interest from a number of teams. The 28-year-old Scott, who grew up near the Washington, D.C. area, was a key rotation player for the Hawks from 2013-14 through 2015-16, but saw his role take a hit last season after returning from a knee procedure, as he appeared in just 18 games and shot 28.8 percent from the field before he was traded to the Suns and subsequently waived Feb. 15. Scott will likely need to perform well in training camp to secure a spot on the opening night roster, but if he proves healthy and starts flashing an outside shot again, he could end up being a regular option off the bench for coach Scott Brooks.

Scott is expected to be waived by the Suns after being acquired via trade, Doug Haller of AZCentral Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scott was never able to work himself into the Hawks' rotation after missing the first month of the season with a knee injury, and will be waived by the Suns, who seem to have confidence in their young frontcourt. With the roster spot open, the Suns plan to sign guard Ronnie Price.

Scott will be traded from the Hawks to the Suns in exchange for cash, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scott missed the first month of the season with a knee injury and was never able to work himself into a rotation role once at full strength with the Hawks. That made him expendable, so he'll be shipped to Phoenix, with the Hawks bringing back cash in the deal. Scott should be a depth option in the frontcourt, but is nothing more than a deep reserve and will likely struggle to receive significant minutes on most nights.

Scott (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in a 109-104 overtime win over the Trail Blazers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Scott has failed to play in any of the last three games and doesn't seem likely to crack the Hawks' rotation in the near future. The forward is averaging only 2.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game over 17 appearances on the season.

Scott (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in a 142-139 quadruple-overtime win over the Knicks on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Even though Thabo Sefolosha (groin) was unavailable and Dwight Howard fouled out of the marathon win, there wasn't any room in the rotation for Scott. Now that Mike Muscala is healthy, it appears he and Kris Humphries will serve as the Hawks' primary frontcourt reserves, which will prevent Scott from seeing the court most nights. Scott is averaging just 10.8 minutes per game on the season, his lowest figure since his 2012-13 rookie campaign.

Scott (lower leg) played 22 minutes for the D-League's Long Island Nets in their 123-104 loss to the Maine Red Claws on Friday, finishing with eight points (3-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block.
EDGE Analysis
Scott missed Long Island's previous game Tuesday while dealing with a sore lower leg, but his return to action Friday suggests it was only a minor issue. The Hawks are expected to recall Scott from the D-League in advance of Saturday's game against the Mavericks, but even if that's the case, he's not expected to see much court time in that contest.

Scott is dealing with some soreness in his lower left leg and was held out of Tuesday's D-League matchup, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scott is expected to remain with the D-League's Long Island Nets until the upcoming weekend, when he is then set to be recalled by the Hawks. However, it remains to be seen if he'll be able to take the court for Long Island in the meantime, as he's dealing with a lower left leg injury. We should see Scott's status updated sometime over the next few days, but even when healthy, he's struggled to see more than just a handful of minutes as a reserve.
