Mike Dunleavy scored 15 points off the bench on Monday to go with four boards, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes against Cleveland. He shot 4-of-6 from the field while making all five free throws and he was the best perimeter scorer for the Bulls tonight. Before tonight, Dunleavy averaged just 6.4 points per game in only 19.4 minutes, so he has a lot of work to do in order to make his way into the standard league conversation.

Mike Dunleavy will play against the Pistons for Wednesday night's preseason game. The team will get a good look at him with Jimmy Butler (knee) out of the lineup. Dunleavy has been great so far in the preseason and has given the team a nice option to help space the floor.

Mike Dunleavy will be a game-time decision on Wednesday after he collided with a teammate during Tuesday's practice. It's unclear what he hurt, but the Bulls are being ultra-conservative with injuries this preseason so the fact that he might play suggests that it's not serious. The backup swingman is a nice fit on Chicago's bench, but it's a role with limited fantasy appeal.

Mike Dunleavy is expected to come off the bench to back up both Jimmy Butler and Luol Deng. Deng and Butler are capable of playing big minutes, so it's hard to get too attached to the idea of Dunleavy matching his 25.9 minutes per game from last season. At 32, Dunleavy is excited about being on a team that projects to make the postseason, but he's not expected to get enough shots to be a factor in standard fantasy leagues while Deng and Butler are healthy.

Bulls sign G/F Mike Dunleavy. The two-year, $6 million deal was made official on Wednesday. It's a bargain price for Chicago considering guys like Carlos Delfino, Kyle Kover and Chase Budinger all earned deals worth around $5 million annually. Dunleavy should backup Jimmy Butler and Luol Deng at SG/SF this season, and his perimeter shooting and ball-movement bode well for the Bulls' at-times stagnant second unit. The Bulls bench ranked 26th in the NBA with 27.2 points per game last season.

The Bulls and Mike Dunleavy are discussing a two-year, $6 million deal. He's received interest from a number of teams and Chicago is now the frontrunner. Dunleavy would likely be a bench option for the Bulls with the emergence of Jimmy Butler. What's more, the deal with Dunleavy probably eliminates the chances of the Bulls bringing back UFA Marco Belinelli. Belinelli played 22 minutes per game in April with the Bulls, which seems like a fair expectation for Dunleavy next year, assuming the deal goes through.

The Bulls are reportedly pursuing Mike Dunleavy with their mini-mid-level exception. Dunleavy is a sweet shooter (42.8 percent from downtown last year) who is also an underrated passer, and he's ready and willing to play both SG and SF off the bench. He's a great fit for a contending team looking for a shooter, in other words, and he's also drawing interest from the Mavericks, Lakers, Rockets and Wolves.

The Wolves will meet with Mike Dunleavy in Los Angeles on Monday. Minnesota shot an abysmal 30.5 percent as a team from beyond the arc last year, which is the second lowest by a team since the 2003-04 season. Dunleavy is expected to be coveted by a number of teams as a 3-point guy and his 1.7 triples per game on a sterling 42.8 percent.

Mike Dunleavy, who will be an unrestricted FA this summer, is reportedly drawing "keen interest" from several teams. Dunleavy played 26 minutes per game off Milwaukee's bench this season, scoring 10.5 points with 1.7 threes, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists. The 32-year-old veteran earned roughly $3.8 million last year and he should be an affordable pickup for a competitive team looking for bench help.

Mike Dunleavy, an unrestricted free agent, admitted he likes the Bucks but stopped short of guaranteeing his return. Dunleavy was a solid pickup for the Bucks and will have no shortage of interest on the open market as someone capable of doing multiple things off the bench. "I like being here; I grew up here," he said. "I'm willing to come back. Honestly I haven't given a lot of thought to it." The Bucks have a huge offseason ahead, and it wouldn't surprise us to see Dunleavy try and land with a more competitive team.
