Conley was not at practice Friday after having close contact with person who tested positive for COVID-19, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conley will remain sidelined until it is established that he has not also contracted the virus. The veteran guard said he expects to be quarantined through Monday as long as he continues to test negative. His status for the preseason, which begins Dec. 12 for Utah, will depend on continued negative tests.

Conley will not exercise the early termination option in his contract for the 2020-21 season, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is all but a formality for Conley, who by opting in will guarantee himself the $34.5 million on his contract for next season. The veteran guard had a disappointing first year in Utah, but he found some level of comfortability late in the season, and the hope is that he'll serve as a more productive complement to Donovan Mitchell in 2020-21. Conley finished last season with averages of 14.4 points, 4.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 47 games.

Conley amassed just eight points (2-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven assists, four rebounds and three steals in 40 minutes during Monday's 80-78 loss to Denver.
EDGE Analysis
Conley picked a bad time to go cold from the floor, bumbling his way to eight points in the Game 7 loss. Despite this effort, Conley has certainly looked better during his time in Orlando. After an indifferent season in Utah, Conley was beginning to look more like the player we had come to expect. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain things heading into next season or whether another decline is on the cards.

Conley produced 21 points (7-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six assists, five rebounds and a steal across 34 minutes in Sunday's 119-107 loss to the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Despite an excellent outing, Conley's most poignant moment occurred when Rudy Gobert scolded him for blowing a defensive assignment in the fourth quarter, and it resulted in a chair-kicking tantrum from the center. Despite that brief disruption, Conley hit some pivotal three-pointers down the stretch that kept the Jazz within striking distance. He also excelled in getting the ball to playmakers throughout the contest. He'll continue to direct the offense alongside Donovan Mitchell during Tuesday's Game 7 battle.

Conley registered 17 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five assists, four rebounds, a steal and a block in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 117-107 Game 5 loss against the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Conley topped the 25-point plateau in his first two games in the playoffs, but he couldn't repeat that performance in Game 5 after struggling from the field. He only made five shots and connected on 33.3 percent of his treys. The veteran point guard will hope to deliver a better scoring effort in Game 6 on Thursday.

Conley (personal) finished with 27 points (9-13 FG, 7-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Friday's 124-87 Game 3 win against the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Conley returned to the lineup after missing the first two playoff games to be with his wife for the birth of their child, and he didn't miss a beat. In fact, Conley ended up with more points than minutes while sinking a playoff career-high seven treys. Moreover, he didn't need to log a ton of minutes given that the game was seemingly in hand entering the fourth quarter. Conley will look to build on this superb performance heading into Sunday's Game 4.

Conley (personal) is clearing quarantine and will play in Game 3 Friday against the Nuggets, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old missed the first two games of the series as he left the bubble last weekend to be with his wife for the birth of their child, but he'll be back with the team for Game 3. Conley figures to reclaim his spot in the starting five from Juwan Morgan.

Conley (personal) is considered probable for Friday's Game 3 against the Nuggets, Marc Stein of the New York Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a major development for the Jazz, who were without Conley for Games 1 and 2 after he departed the bubble to be with his wife following the birth of the couple's child. Conley returned to Orlando on Tuesday morning and looks to be on track to clear his mandatory quarantine period prior to Friday's tip. The veteran will likely return to the starting lineup, which featured Juwan Morgan in his place for Games 1 and 2.

Conley (personal) returned to the Orlando bubble on Tuesday, Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conley departed the bubble last week to be with his wife after the birth of their child, but he made his return Tuesday and will begin a mandatory quarantine period. It's not yet clear how long Conley will be required to self-isolate, but he'll miss at least Game 2 of the Jazz's series with the Nuggets on Wednesday. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN notes that there's optimism that Conley could be cleared in time for Game 3.

Conley left the NBA bubble in Orlando on Sunday to witness the birth of his son, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports. He'll miss at least the first two games of the Jazz's first-round playoff series with the Nuggets that begins Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Since Conley will have to complete a mandatory quarantine upon his return to the bubble, there's a high likelihood that he'll miss Friday's Game 3 as well, if not additional contests beyond that. The Jazz were fully preparing for Conley to leave the bubble at some point, but his untimely departure will likely make it even more difficult for Utah to turn in a competitive series with Denver. While Conley is away from the team, look for Jordan Clarkson and Emmanuel Mudiay to pick up the majority of the available minutes, while Donovan Mitchell also takes on more on-ball duties.
