Conley (trade pending) is questionable to make his Timberwolves debut on Friday.

Once he passes his physical, the veteran figures to start at the vacated point guard spot made available by the Wolves dealing D'Angelo Russell to the Lakers in the three-team trade that brought Conley from Utah. With Minnesota, Conley should continue focusing on distribution, as he's averaging a career-high 7.7 assists per game and is joining a team with a potent scorer in Anthony Edwards, and Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) will eventually return. Fantasy managers rostering Conley should have no concerns about his value.

Conley is being sent to Minnesota as part of a three-way deal between the Timberwolves, Jazz and Lakers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

EDGE Analysis

Conley should slot into the starting point guard role vacated by D'Angelo Russell (traded to the Lakers), so he should be able to maintain his status as a late-round producer on his new team. The Jazz will not bring in another point guard in this deal, and there's a good chance they'll buy out Russell Westbrook, so Collin Sexton should be Utah's full-time starting point guard moving forward, making him one of the winners in this trade.

Conley recorded 20 points (7-9 FG, 2-4 3PT, 4-6 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 30 minutes in Friday's 115-108 loss to the Hawks.

EDGE Analysis

Conley was efficient from the floor en route to a season-high 20 points and continued to dish out a plethora of assists. While he is averaging the second-lowest point total of his career at 10.7, the 35-year-old is averaging a career-high 7.6 dimes. He is also back above 80 percent from the line (81.1) after dipping below that threshold last season.

Conley posted 19 points (5-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 9-9 FT), eight assists, three rebounds and two blocks over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 131-128 win over the Raptors.

EDGE Analysis

Conley's perfect shooting from the free-throw line helped him score a season-high 19 points. The veteran point guard's two blocks were tied for his highest total of 2022-23. Conley also managed to dish out eight assists while turning the ball over just three times.

Conley contributed four points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds, 11 assists and four steals over 34 minutes during Saturday's 108-100 victory over the Mavericks.

EDGE Analysis

Conley attempted only two shots in the first half but still played a major role in getting Utah out to a big lead with eight assists and three steals over that span. The veteran point guard dished out another three assists after the break to finish with a game-high 11 dimes in the contest while adding just another two points on 1-of-6 shooting. Conley has now recorded five rebounds and 10 or more assists in back-to-back games, though he's failed to score in double figures in three of his last four.

Conley accumulated eight points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt), five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 134-124 loss to the Trail Blazers.

EDGE Analysis

Conley came into Wednesday hitting double-digit points in five of the last six games and had dished out 39 assists to just four turnovers during that span. He managed only eight points on the night, but the veteran ball handler dished out 10 dimes against Portland, marking his first double-digit performance since Jan. 5. His assist-to-turnover ratio has given him some value this season in nine-category leagues.

Conley chipped in 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt), four rebounds, nine assists and one block across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 126-103 victory over the Clippers.

EDGE Analysis

With Wednesday's performance, the veteran has scored double-digit points in four straight games -- just the second time all season that he's achieved the feat. Fantasy managers in nine-category leagues are also benefiting from Conley's ball control, as he has 23 assists and zero turnovers over the past three games. He should be rostered, or at least streamed, in most 12-team fantasy leagues.

Conley (rest) isn't on the injury report for Saturday's game versus the 76ers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

EDGE Analysis

Conley predictably will make his return to the floor after getting a night off to rest on the front end of the back-to-back set Friday. He should resume his duties as the Jazz's starting point guard, sending Nickeil Alexander-Walker back to the bench.

Conley will rest on the first night of Utah's back-to-back. Collin Sexton will likely enter the starting lineup in his absence. The veteran point guard should be good to go for Saturday's matchup with Philadelphia.

Conley struggled again in the loss, scoring in single digits for the fourth time in his last five games. He has been able to maintain strong assist numbers, putting up at least seven dimes in each of his past seven games, somewhat salvaging what has been a rough period. He is the 187th-ranked player over the past month, and while he is probably a must-roster player, his offensive woes do mean he isn't going to be for everyone.
