Portland Trail Blazers guard/forward Maurice Harkless (knee) will miss Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Harkless has been battling knee issues all season and it appears he's going to miss another game. Jake Layman will continue to start while Nik Stauskas and Evan Turner gain some minutes off the bench.

Head coach Terry Stotts said he expected Harkless to be available for this game. Clearly Harkless has suffered a setback after shootaround and the team wants to hold him out of this one.
