Thybulle (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out for Thursday's game at Denver, Justin Grasso of SI.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thybulle will be sidelined for the seventh straight game due to the health and safety protocols. Coach Doc Rivers said earlier this week the 24-year-old should rejoin the team during the current road trip, which runs through next Wednesday at Golden State.

Philadelphia head coach Doc Rivers said Tuesday that Thybulle (illness) will likely rejoin the team and possibly play at some point during the remaining four games of the 76ers' six-game West Coast road trip, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. "With Matisse, it's just trying to get the right date with the league," Rivers said, regarding when Thybulle might clear the NBA's health and safety protocols for COVID-19. "It's a lot of clutter going on. I'll leave it at that."
EDGE Analysis
Thybulle originally entered quarantine Nov. 5 as a close contact of an infected person, then tested positive for the virus himself shortly thereafter. Despite being vaccinated, Thybulle had to sit out 10 days in accordance with health and safety protocols, but he'll be eligible to return for the 76ers' next game Thursday in Denver. Even so, it's unclear if Thybulle will be ready to go from a conditioning standpoint by Thursday, so he's best viewed as somewhere between doubtful and questionable for that contest until the 76ers provide another update on his status. Thybulle, who has delivered most of his fantasy value in the form of 2.3 steals and 1.7 blocks per game over nine outings this season, has missed each of the 76ers' last six contests.

Thybulle (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game at Utah, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thybulle will be sidelined for the sixth straight contest due to the health and safety protocols, as will Joel Embiid. Shake Milton and Furkan Korkmaz are slated for increased roles with Danny Green (hamstring) also ruled out.

Thybulle (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) is listed as out for Saturday's contest against the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Thybulle will miss his fifth straight game Saturday due to COVID-19 protocols. Joel Embiid and Isaiah Joe will also remain sidelined due to protocols, but the 76ers did get Tobias Harris back Thursday. Paul Reed and Georges Niang will likely continue to see increased minutes during Thybulle's absence.

Thybulle (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) is listed as out for Tuesday's contest against the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
At this stage, the 76ers have only confirmed that Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid have tested positive for COVID-19, but Thybulle and Isaiah Joe will both remain in the NBA's health and safety protocols for the third and fourth game in a row, respectively. The continued absences of Thybulle and Joe seemingly suggests that they have also tested positive, so fantasy managers should plan on Thybulle being sidelined for Thursday's game against the Raptors as well.

Thybulle (COVID-19) won't play Monday against the Knicks, Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thybulle was entered into the team's COVID-19 protocol over the weekend after being identified as a close contact to Isaiah Joe, who tested positive for the virus late in the week. The 24-year-old forward will have to miss at least one more game due to contact tracing, leaving the door open for Furkan Korkmaz and possibly Danny Green (hamstring) to see a good chunk of minutes.

The 76ers placed Thybulle in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols Friday, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thybulle is now the third member of the 76ers to enter the NBA's protocol, and he'll remain out for Saturday's game against the Bulls along with Isaiah Joe and Tobias Harris. Both Harris and Joe are believed to have tested positive for the virus, while Thybulle appears to be viewed as a close contact of Joe due to the proximity of their lockers in the Sixers' dressing room. Thybulle had previously been filling in for Harris as the team's starting power forward, but the 76ers will likely have to go small at the position with one of Danny Green (hamstring) and Furkan Korkmaz (wrist), who are listed as questionable for Saturday's contest.

Thybulle is starting Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
With Danny Green (hamstring) and Tobias Harris (COVID-19 protocols) out, Thybulle and Furkan Korkmaz get the starts at forward. Per 36 minutes, Thybulle is averaging 7.6 points, 3.9 steals, 3.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.3 blocks.

Thybulle closed with 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four steals, three rebounds, three blocks and two assists in 23 minutes during Saturday's 122-94 victory over the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Thybulle put on a defensive clinic once again, turning in his best performance of the season to date. He added a sprinkling of offensive sugar to this effort, something that managers should know not to expect on a regular basis. As always, Thybulle has 12 -team value but is only a viable asset if you are looking for steals and blocks.

Thybulle has his 2022-23 option picked up by the Sixers on Friday, Derek Bodner of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thybulle has been a core part of the Sixers' game plan since joining them as a rookie in 2019, averaging 19.8 and 20.0 minutes respectively during his first two seasons in the NBA. The 24-year-old has never been a major offensive producer, but his defensive prowess makes him a valuable commodity that Philly has now locked down through the 2022-23 campaign.
