Bolden contract with the Cavaliers has been converted to a two-way deal, Kelsey Russo of The Athletic reports.

Bolden was apparently impressing the coaching staff in the preseason. The center played 62 minutes, totaling 20 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks. His run in the NBA this season will likely be limited, and he'll probably see most of his action in the G League with the Canton Charge.

Bolden has suited up in five games for the G League's Canton Charge since his 10-day contract with the Cavaliers expired earlier in February. Over those contests, he's averaging 12.0 points (on 57.1 percent shooting from the field), 7.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 1.4 assists in 18 .8 minutes.

Bolden got the opportunity to make his NBA debut in a Feb. 1 loss to the Warriors, but he saw no other action during his week-and-a-half-long stint with the Cavaliers. The undrafted rookie out of Duke effectively became expendable after the Cavaliers brought in another established center in Andre Drummond via trade with the Pistons on Feb. 6. So long as Drummond, Tristan Thompson and Larry Nance all avoid long-term absences before the season concludes, Bolden isn't likely to receive another 10-day deal from Cleveland, though another NBA team could give him a look.

Bolden is taking a step up in the Cavaliers organization, as he's played 28 games (24 starts) for the G League's Canton Charge this season. With the Charge, he's averaged 9.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 18.3 minutes. However, he shouldn't be expected to see much action, as Cleveland's center depth is almost fully healthy.

Bolden totaled 16 points (5-7 FG, 0-0 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and added three assists, 10 rebounds, a block and a steal during Wednesday's G League win over Lakeland.

EDGE Analysis

It was Bolden's biggest scoring day over his last seven games. He also led the team in rebounding on the evening. The 21-year-old is currently averaging 9.4 points and 6.4 rebounds across 27 games this season.

Bolden scored 17 points (7-10 FG, 0-0 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added five rebounds during Saturday's G League loss to Wisconsin.

EDGE Analysis

That marks back-to-back performances of 15 points or more for Bolden. Through 14 G League games, he is averaging 7.2 points and 4.5 rebounds on the year.

Bolden scored four points (1-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and totaled six rebounds, and one block during Saturday's G League win over College Park.

EDGE Analysis

Bolden started but played just 15 minutes, the least among players that made an appearance for the Charge. The six boards are a step above his 4.2 per-game average in 10 contests this season.

Bolden ended with nine points (4-5 FG, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, and one assist in 19 minutes during Sunday's 118-72 preseason loss to the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

The Cavaliers were terrible Sunday, basically running out a G-League squad in the 46 point loss. Bolden, however, did have a couple of bright spots and held his own against the Celtics defense. There is really nothing to note here from a fantasy perspective given the Cavaliers were resting a number of players.
