Deng (illness) will play in Tuesday's game against the Spurs, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Deng was unable to take part in morning shootaround while dealing with an illness but apparently that was in an effort to rest up for the night ahead. He's in line to start as always but should have a tough test while matched up with San Antonio's Kawhi Leonard at various points in Tuesday's game.

Deng did not go through shootaround due to illness and is considered questionable to play Tuesday night against the Spurs, Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Both Deng and Udonis Haslem were absent because of illness, and coach Erik Spoelstra said he's unsure at this point whether either player will be available. Look for an update closer to game-time, but if Deng is held out, expect Gerald Green and Justise Winslow to see increased roles.

Deng had 15 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, and one assist in 40 minutes during the Heat's 100-93 loss to the Clippers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Deng has been playing well lately, averaging 14.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 threes, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 32 minutes per game over the last five contests. He is turning 31 in April, but he has seen 30 minutes or more in every month during the 2015-16 campaign. This was only the second time this season he has seen 40 minutes or more, but Deng remains an integral part of the Heat's starting five even though he is posting career-lows in almost every statistical category.

Deng finished with 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and three assists during 29 minutes in Tuesday's 115-102 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Over his past three games, Deng is averaging 16.7 points and 6.3 rebounds while hitting two three-pointers in each of those contests. The Heat haven't seen much production from their bench -- and it won't get better with Tyler Johnson out -- which has led to Deng being asked to do more on offense. As a result of this Deng's shooting percentage lately (46.6) has looked closer to his career average (45.7).

Deng scored 17 points (7-14 FG, 1-2 FT, 2-5 3Pt) to go along with four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 32 minutes Sunday against the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran took on a larger offensive role Sunday, as he tied a season-high in field-goal attempts and reached 17 points for just the fourth time. Deng continues to play 30-plus minutes per night for Miami, but his season averages of just 10.2 points and 4.7 rebounds suggest that he is long past his prime as a solid fantasy contributor. Deng could again see a few extra shots if center Hassan Whiteside misses Tuesday's game as expected, but his fantasy value will likely level off once the latter returns.

Deng played 31 minutes and finished with nine points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds, one steal, and one block in his return to the court in Monday's 89-84 win over the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
Deng missed just one game after suffering a scratch to his eye in last week's loss to the Wizards. His return was vital for a Heat squad that continues to deal with a litany of injuries throughout the roster, and Deng should continue to regularly play more than 30 minutes per game until the team gets a little healthier.

Deng (eye) has been upgraded to probable for Monday's game against Chicago, Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barring a setback, it looks like Deng is set to return Monday, as he'll go through warmups with the intent to play. The veteran has been cleared, medically, and coach Erik Spoelstra spoke Monday morning as if he's full expecting Deng to be available. "He's been given the green light," Spoelstra said. "Having him back plugs a lot of holes for us." Deng sat out Friday's loss to the Raptors as the banged-up Heat failed to reach 90 points for the fourth straight game.

Deng (eye) is questionable for Monday's matchup with the Bulls, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Deng is one of eight players that has been listed on the injury report Sunday. He was forced to sit out of Friday's loss to the Raptors after being poked in the eye in Wednesday's loss to the Wizards. If Deng is held out, look for Justise Winslow to grab the start.

Deng (eye) will not participate in Friday's contest against the Raptors, Ethan J. Skolnick of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Deng left Wednesday's matchup against the Wizards early as he was poked in his right eye. The small forward is one out of six players on Miami that will be sidelined due to injury against Toronto on Friday. Assuming he recovers, Deng will likely make an appearance in Monday's tilt against Chicago.

Deng (eye) has been listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Raptors, the Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Deng was forced to leave Wednesday's loss to the Wizards after beign poked in the eye by Kelly Oubre. With Josh McRoberts ruled out and Hassan Whiteside listed as questionable, the Heat frontcourt could be limited to Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem, and Jarnell Stokes. If Deng is ruled out, expect rookie Justise Winslow to start in his place.
